I think a CD of silence would have been sufficient.

I'll stick around (and Marigold, although that's not really like greatest hits material, but it's such a great old song...)

'Best Of" albums are for people just breaking into a band and want a handful of songs to get them started, by the sounds of most of these posts it sounds like most of you are fairly big fans. So stop fucking crying and try getting/listening to the album the song is on.

I'LL STICK AROUND!!!! Also Low and DOA. I know it is just for people getting into it with the singles but I think these are all quite well known and should be included in a 'Greatest Hits'.

Looking good but I've got all the albums. I'll probably get the new songs off iTunes when their avalible.

Posted by Studdman | September 23, 2009 8:30 AM | Reply to this

They could've easily done a double album.

I would've included:

1. Stacked Actors
2. Walking After You
3. The One
4. For All The Cows
5. Hey Johnny Park

I'm biased though and love TINLTL/TCATS in particular :)

Posted by Paul | September 23, 2009 12:33 PM | Reply to this

Yeah Dave may be a Rock God but D.O.A. should have been included, ideally instead of long road to ruin.

No I'll stick around or Let it Die?! Also Summer's would've been a nice edition despite not being a single

Posted by Flembo | September 25, 2009 9:07 PM | Reply to this

Defo should be 2cd album but you can tell its a record company release with the band not having much input as Ghrol said before that bands shouldnt release GH's until band finished and songs like 'Aurora' which I believe is one of Mr Ghrol's fav songs of is isnt on it.
I dont think there will be tour as Nate playing with SDRE and Dave with Crooked Vultures but should be album next Autumn.
Would love for them to release 2cd best of with b-sides album too including 'The Colour and The Shape', 'World', 'Dear Lover', 'Walking A Line', 'The Sign' ect.

Forgot to mention in case it wasnt already that there will be limited edition featuring DVD including live vid and some of band's hit song vids.
