Paramoremania hits London!

Paramoremania has officially hit London!

Hundreds of fans have been queuing-up outside one of London’s Oxford Street branches of HMV since the early hours of this morning (September 7) to try and meet the Tennessee pop rockers.

Check out a few photos below which were taken at 8AM this morning.

The band will be performing an in store signing session at the store, which is opposite Bond Street Tube, from 5PM on the day before they go on to play an intimate headline show at London’s Islington Academy this evening.

The band have set up a special Twitter account to chart their adventures in London at twitter.com/paramoreLDN.

Paramore's new single, Ignorance, will be released on September 14 and their new album, Brand New Eyes, will follow on September 28.

Sad bastards. Queing up to see a band that relies on all emphasise on a skinny ginger runt. By the way the guitar techniques used in the new song are very simular to that song where the video is set in a school.

I can play guitar mate, and its okay.
Im not a massive paramore fan.
I like a few songs off "Riot!" but other than that the other stuff bores me...

She's so up her own arse in their live album

I do agree, who actually knows the names of the guys in the band... Its ran by a skinny ginger girl (not being shallow here!) who trys to be all metal on stage by throwing herself around...

so i respect whats-er-face as a female in rock but thier songs make me wanna puke.... i can't imagine theyre great live either and don't understand the hype . yo be honest theyre mediocre even at what they do ..... luckily i got tickets to see greenday sooo :P

They're hardly a respectable band, they're mediocre at best and sound just like any other pop-punk band, their only difference (and notably their biggest selling point) is their lead singer. It's the only thing that sets them apart from any other band right now,. They make generic and rather boring music, which I suppose is okay for someone who's not looking for any kind of deep and meaningful music. They're overplayed by far and over hyped and overrated. Their popularity lies in their lead singer, and that alone. I doubt most people can even name the rest of their members (I sure can't!). Paramore are hardly a band - they've been precisely marketed very well because of their lead singer. Their music is just 'alright', but that's as far as it goes, it's nothing special nor anything new. That being said... whatever floats people's boats, I suppose

Their music is only generic to those with a refined taste in music. if you're actually looking for something specific to sit and listen to. Paramore's songs ARE meaningful, you clearly don't know their history, and are shockingly enough, just typing this out of opinion.

I'm sorry but you cannot simply just say that the popularity relies on Hayley. There are many bands when most only know single members.
Axel Rose, Slash, sting, freddie murcury, corey taylor, pete wentz, bredon urie, cassadee pope, amy-lee, billy joe, matt bellemy, anthony kedis (I could go on but I'm not going to) are names from big bands (ok, apart from hey monday) that people only know members of.

I will never understand why people go onto a website to slag a band off when it will have no impact whatsoever on people's opinion if they already like them...i also dont understand why fans rise up to it and try to argue, its pointless!
Hayley is hot as fuck, the band is frickin awesome and all people who actually like them can name all the guys in it as well im sure. (I am full aware that that is arguing with the dickheads but i dont care).
Also, emo isnt a fashion, FOB didnt create pop-punk, they helped thrust it into the limelight (I am a FOB fan btw).

Kris...I'm going to be honest, I've met very few people who are as narrow minded, blinkered and pathetic as you. You say someone can only have an opinion on your precious little comment because he plays an instrument...oddly enough, everyone has an opinion, and I hate to break it to you, any will be different to you.
You moan about scenesters, yet you see easily jump on the "Paramore are only popular because of the singer" "They have no meaning" band wagon that appears every time paramore are mentioned on this site....
Now I like paramore, I appreciate you don't, we may have interests in some of the same bands I don't know. But how about you stop trying to insult or wind up people because they like a band that you don't like, and simply focus on positives of things that interest you.
