My Chem, You Me At Six, Paramore, and Gallows for Soundwave

My Chemical Romance, You Me At Six, Paramore and Gallows have all been added to the bill of Australia's annual Soundwave festival.

The five date trek, which kicks off in Brisbane on February 20 and concludes in Perth on March 1, also features HIM, Faith No More, Enter Shikari, Shinedown, Anti-Flag, Anthrax and Placebo.

The complete line-up is as follows:

A Day To Remember, A Wilhelm Scream, AFI, Alexisonfire, All Time Low, Anthrax, Anti-Flag, Anvil, Baroness, Closure In Moscow, Clutch, Comeback Kid, Dance Gavin Dance, Eagles Of Death Metal, Emarosa, Enter Shikari, Escape The Fate, Faith No More, Four Year Strong, Gallows, HIM Isis, It Dies Today, Jane's Addiction, Maximum The Hormone, Meshuggah, Motion City Soundtrack, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Placebo, Reel Big Fish, Rolo Tomassi, RX Bandits, Set Your Goals, Shinedown, Sunny Day Real Estate, Taking Back Sunday, The Almost, The Aquabats, The Creepshow, The Devil Wears Prada, The Get Up Kids, The Weakerthans, Trivium, Whitechapel and You Me At Six.

Could this killer line-up hint at what we can expect for our summer festivals?

If that implies we will somehow be getting the almighty Maximum the Hormone, then yes please! Soundwave always has a pretty killer line up. Would love to see Clutch, MtH, Rolo Tomassi and Baroness.

I damn well hope so. This festival line-up is killer, and I can't wait to go. ^_^

How the hell do we not get kick ass line ups like that in UK!!!?

Posted by Neil | October 13, 2009 11:09 AM | Reply to this

we used to until every shit band out there got signed up

Posted by tony | October 13, 2009 11:50 AM | Reply to this

I really would hope that the UK gets Closure In Moscow, Dance Gavin Dance, Meshuggah, Rolo Tomassi, The Devil Wears Prada and Whitechapel on our festivals. Fuck My Shitty Romance and You Me At Shit, wouldn't mind Paramore though.

Posted by rach | October 13, 2009 1:03 PM | Reply to this

This has been announced months now! Whats your deal lately Kerrang? shameful.

Posted by Drew | October 13, 2009 1:07 PM | Reply to this

We need some more international bands over here - Dance Gavin Dance, Devil wears Prada and Maximum the Hormone.

Ive seen the latter two supporting Enter shikari but even so to get them all at one of the UK's festivals would be awesome

Maybe they were waiting for the second announcement, which was only released today.

And what the hell is with you people complaining about festival line ups? Musicians tour the UK waaaay more than they do Australia, you got nothing to complain about!
