The death of the emo haircut

Last night (Sunday, October 4) the emo world went into mourning when Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz had his "emo haircut" shaved off live on stage at Madison Square Garden.

Fall Out Boy were supporting Blink 182 on their US comeback tour when Blink bassist / vocalist Mark Hoppus took to the stage during the Chicago mob's set-closer, Saturday, and shaved Wentz' head.

"Jay-Z had the Death Of Autotune, this is the death of the emo swoosh," wrote Wentz on his Twitter.

While Hoppus gleefully Re-Tweeted: "Mark did something Millions of people have been hoping for, he's like the Jedi that saved the Rebellion..."

I think that what that guy did to pete doesn't matter. Looks have no meaning other than to tell one person from another. if fall out boy start to lose fans because of this then they aren't true fans, because being a fan of a band means that you like their music and their pwersonalities.
Fall Out Boy, in my opinion,are the best band around atm and I love their music xx Rock on FOB :D

everyone knows kerrang is the "we love pete" magazine - expect no other news except the styles and bowel movements of Wentz.

this is why i stopped reading it a long time ago. dont get me wrong, i like FoB but i really dont care for what he had done

KERRANG - for the sake of old days - report some proper music news - your other stories seem acceptable but this is mearly the duck that can skateboard news story you find to lighten up the mood in news broadcasts
