HIM frontman Ville Valo sees the light at the end of the tunnel

In a world exclusive interview in this week's Kerrang! magazine, HIM frontman Ville Valo discusses his band's upcoming seventh studio album, Scream Works: Love In Theory And Practice.

And after being sober for over a year, Valo says he has finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel, only to discover it's an oncoming train...

“This album celebrates the fact that life is fucked and it will probably get more fucked,” he told Kerrang! “There’s a line that goes, ’Here’s to the pain and the light of the oncoming train’. That’s about celebrating the fact that life and relationships are hard but, if it’s easy, what’s the challenge?

“I guess I’m celebrating the challenge of being human,” he added. “Everyone’s got their struggles. You need to keep moving forward, though, and try to realise you’re not the only one.”

ok this is nothing to do with this topic . but in case some of you have been asleep the last few weeks . H I M . are back in the uk next month on a tour . and yes tickets are on sale 9.am FRIDAY . YES THIS FRIDAY 9 AM
but . if you like me and wanted to buy them now . you can as long as your an 02 customer . and the gigg is at an 02 venu . like 02 acdemy birmingham . then you can get tickets now todday 2 mora. im sure you can get them off other websites today . but tbh i have not looked . just thought id share this with true H I M fans .

Yay for 9am tomorrow morning on livenation.com HIM tickets....I can't wait....hopefully they will show case some of there new stuff at Helldone this new years too....

HIM are the finnish gods of the music scene! Can't wait for Screamworks...Love in Theory and Practise...2010 is looking up already!!
