Paramore and Green Day get Grammy nominations!

The list of nominations for 52nd annual Grammy awards have been unveiled and it’s been a bumper year for rock music!

Both pop-punk heroes Green Day and classic rockers AC/DC have notched up three nominations in various categories, while Metallica have been nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance for The Unforgiven III and next week’s Kerrang! coverstars, Paramore, have received two nominations for their contributions to the Twilight soundtrack.

The awards will be broadcast live from Staples Center in Los Angles on January 31.

Thats the worst news everrrr, ok, i officially dont like Paramore being in Twilight, they get wayyy to much attention and wtf why is linkin parks what i've done on there, its soooooo old, and decode is crap

I was forced into sarcasm by the fact that kerrang decided to put the mighty Metallica and AC/DC as subnotes to Paramore and Green Day. I haven't got anything against Paramore and Green Day as such but this magazine isn't what it used to be. Its more like Smash Hits in places these days...

i completely agree, i seen that Metallica (one of the best band in the world) and AC/DC (another immense band) all in the sub-titles. I do love Green Day and Paramore but Metallica and AC/DC should be in the title just to the shear greatness of them. :D

you guys, kerrang posted it on here just to say "look what these guys have achieved this year!" not "this is a list of the best bands in the world". the reason ym@6 arent on here, is 'cos they havent done anything spectacular this year. and the only reason paramore are up there is because they managed to get themselves a song on a popular film, they didnt know it was gonna be a hit. and green day have made a bloody good comeback, seeing as though their album is as good as it is. nowhere near as good as american idiot, but still, they made a great album. so shut up complaining, the truth is these bands deserve it. rant over.

who the fuck writes this??¿..must be some kind of a completly stupid guy/girl who doesnt have an idea of how much the name of METALLICA means either if he/she likes their music or not. you cant give more importance to a shitty band like paramore than to the most powerful band in history....please hire people that do know at least Rock-basics
