Schecter's right - I had the serious misfortune to have to sit through the xfactor final (I sat reading a book and tried to ignore it as best I could) but there is no denying the guy can at least sing. As opposed to the other twat who go to the final who was utter shit.

RATM and JM are entirely different. This whole debate is pointless. For the record, I watch the X Factor (I haven't bought his single...yet) and I bought the RATM album in 1993 when it came it. If it was good enough to get to number 1 it would've got there in the first place. Fact is, #1 single and popularity doesn't mean anything musically. Surely that's obvious. Crap records get to #1 all the time. It's just a chart, and it has been subject to marketing since the 1950s. Top of the Pops 'told' us what to buy just as much as the X Factor did. I've had FIVE messages telling me to buy RATM, none telling me to buy JM.

Simon Cowell's work experience boy goes crying to the press about how he's "worked hard for 12 weeks" to get this far and how it would be terrible to lose to RATM. Well guess what son? RATM have been working at this since the year you were fucking BORN and in all that time, I'll guarantee that they this campaign is the first time they have EVER had anyone hand them ANYTHING on a plate for free and even then, they've paid their dues long and hard. Im not a huge fan of RATM but I hope to GOD that they get that number one spot. Joe doesn't deserve it. I watched xfactor this year, and because that idiot won, I won't be watching again. I disliked him from day 1. He won't last, he hasn't got the likability factor or the voice in my opinion.
