Avenged Sevenfold drummer: Autopsy “inconclusive”

A preliminary investigation into the untimely death of 28-year-old Avenged Sevenfold drummer James ‘The Rev’ Sullivan has proved inconclusive.

Sullivan was found dead at his home in Huntington Beach, California last Monday (December 28). While the Orange County Sheriff’s department has ruled out foul play, the Orange County coroner’s office said autopsy results were “inconclusive” and has ordered more tests.

It may be several weeks before the exact cause of Sullivan’s death is known.

Avenged Sevonfold wont be the same without the Rev but at least he will always be remembered

But still Evile are carrying on so why shouldnt Avenged Sevenfold

I Was Listening To Their Self Titled Album Earlier..
And I Now Know That Its Never Going To Be The Same Listening To It..
I Hope They Find Out What Caused This.. :/

I hate the way people say 'they would want them to carry on'

I will not be surprised if drugs are the case, I'm not a huge fan of A7X but I like some of their stuff (mostly City of Evil), but in the current age of celebrities dropping dead via drugs on the rise, this is something which is going to be leading too "said drug was in his body which caused his death".

Think about it, he was 28 and died of "natural causes", that doesn't sound right at all.

Now that 'The Rev' has died, all I can hear now is the drums in 'A7X' songs and how talented he actually was at them.

I remember the first time I read about Avenged Sevenfold in Metalhammer magazine (sorry Kerrang) and The Rev was the first band member I saw. I was hooked from the second album and have been fortunate to see them play three times.
It is such a shame that we have lost him and my heart goes out to his wife, his family and of course his band mates who most of who have known him since school.
I agree with an earlier comment that now when i listen to A7X song, all I can hear is the drums and how talented he was as a drummer.

Keith, possibly one of the greatest drummers has died at the age of 28 and you think its ok to come on here where people are the paying their respects to him and say that. Do you have a soul? A lot of people are gonna agree with me on this one, if you listen to avenged sevenfold's songs, there is a lot of talented musicians in that band, most of all the rev and a lot of powerful messages in them so quite frankly you can lick the fattest part of my ass you dick. R.I.P James, you will be greatly missed.

WTF no matter ppl like them or not they should at least respect life. you do not like a7x, go celebrate yourself, do not talk shit here while everyone of us are devastated or at least feel sorry. I think you should apologise coz I think a lot people will want to get some fireworks, hold parties and laugh out loud when you died young, like maybe tomorrow. Hey, asshole, respect our favourite drummer of all time!

RIP to such a great musician
And my best wishes go out to his friends and family, and the bandmates who were very vlose to him.

And I think it is incredibly insensitive for people to expect the other band mates to contine after dealing with such a tragic blow. So have a little respect okay?

i dunno what to say .....
i wanna say something
i had the chance to go and them when they was on tour with metallica but i didnt go cause of my mum now i regret that cause i know it wont b same without the rev . im still in shock and i found out from my friend but i didnt believe her so i made her google it when i stayed at her house on new years i cried that night and the one person i was thinking of going into the new year was the Rev and his family. this must a be a hard time for them :/ i regret not going to see them because now i dnt know if il ever get another chance too or even if they is gonna continue.

Jimmy was taken at such a young age =[ he was a special part of A7X and i know everyone who loved him will miss him alot :/
