Shavo is up for a System Of A Down reunion!

System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian has said he is up for a System Of A Down reunion, however he says it’s not up to him.

“Trust me, I’d love to get on stage right now,” he wrote on his Twitter. “It’s not only up to me man. Lets let things happen organically.”

Earlier this week System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian quashed rumours of a reunion saying: "We call it an indefinite hiatus and that's how we still look at it. Nothing's changed. We always have offers to play but we haven't decided to do anything yet."

As much as I love Serj and his music, if Shavo wants to do a re union and so do Daron and John he should get his arse back with System and come and headline Sonisphere!

could there possible be too many bands that should be headlining about
STP, ACDC, Sound Garden (lets hope), they should be headline bands

Lets face it, last year Download ended up being overshadowed by Sonispheres line up, they run the risk of the same happening this year if they don't sort themselves out, who at the moment organsies Download?

hopefully something will happen soon... But i agree, playing download would be a really awesome opening to a full soad comeback! however, isn't the bill for download already finalized? I suppose if some1 had 2 drop out unexpecedly, there would be a spot open, but what are the chances of that happening to 1 of the main acts? damn, i kinda just killed my own buzz, but yes lets wait & see! fingers crossed!

Oh dear. Someone spells Goth with seven 'F's and is obviously far to over-opinionated for his own good but at-least has a sense of humor, nether the less and ignoring the nipple-head there are plenty of spaces at 'Download' for more headliners for those who somehow don't know (what with only ACDC headlining thus far) but SOAD most probably wont be one of them! Serj is working on his second solo album and seems very dismissive of reunion now. Besides, its only been about 4 years since they called the Hiatus.

Why can't soad play at download & sonisphere? but personally it would be good if they played at sonishpere, i doubt they will though :( *sniff sniff*

Well not really dude last years line-up smashed sonispheres by a mile everyone who is a big hit in metal was at download 09 shame i fucking missed it though :( going 2010 though woop!
