Slayer postpone March dates

Slayer have been forced to postpone their March UK dates due to Tom Araya’s recurring back problems.

The 48-year-old frontman is to undergo surgery at the end of the month.

“Tom gave various medical treatments more than a fair shot,” says manager Rick Sales, “but they just haven't handled the problem. Tom's health is the number one priority, and [surgery] has to happen.”

Rescheduled dates will be announced shortly.

Probably caused by all the years of headbanging on stage every night. Still it looks cool and as they say, no pain, no gain.
