im so glad my passion have made it to the front cover, im a dedicated fan who lives in portugal and would love it if they played over here but i get sent kerrang every week by my gran who got me the subscription and you have introduced me to so many great new bands including my passion, i was a bit bummed that i couldnt get over for the relentless tour. i love my passion and they deserve every bit of what they have, they have come a long way and im really pleased for them.

Kerrang Magazine...thank you sooo much for putting My Passion on the front cover! They're an amazing band who I have so much respect and love for, their music means a lot to me and has gotten me through some bad times lately. And it's amazing to see all their hard work being rewarded like this with them getting recognition! :D
The guys are lovely and deserve this sooo much! I can't waittt to get this tomorrrow! :D

Having first listened to them a few years ago, and even going to the red bull HQ album launch and so forth, My Passion have opened my eyes to unique, amazing and most of all EXCITING music. Since then i have seen them 25+ times and every time they have blown my mind. Thankyou for noticing their incredable sound and rewarding them for it.
So stoked and can't wait to get it tomorrow, getting two issues so i can lock one up somewhere safe and never ever open it and keep it as beautiful as they are. :) cheers K! xx

This band don't deserve a cover feature , they're awful and only focus on image . Oh and i was forced to see them once , and were dreadful live .

I don't get how all the bad new British bands get all the media coverage such as these guys and Young Guns , yet amazing ones like Your Demise , Viatrophy (They're sadly doing their last ever tour in April , you should go for a real live show) , The Ghost Of A Thousand and Trigger The Bloodshed get fuck all .

Each of these bands released an incredible album last year and have gotten no coverage yet pop rock shite like MP and YG get their ass licked ?

Kerrang have gone down hill since getting a new editor =/ .

Yay! They deserve it so much, im so happy for them. I first saw them in 2008, and have seen them 16/17 times since, and they get better each and every time. To the hater - they have worked so hard for this, dont you dare say they only focus on image.

Its so amazing to see My Passion on the cover of K! Ive met them and seen them live twice and they are definatly the most hardworking band I have seen. It took them awhile to get here but now that they have they deserve it. Even haters cant deny that they are passionate and put EVERYTHING into this band. Thanks Kerrang! for putting them on the cover...Ill be getting two copies too, one for keeps, another for reading and then pasting all over my walls! xoxo

(Random example) I mean I don't especially love metallica but I know they're majorly talented and I like it when they're in kerrang. So pleased to see My Passion on the cover today!!!

No matter what other people say, the boys have worked so hard for this. They shouldn't be judged just because it hasn't been since the 70's! And furthermore, the fact that they've got haters can only be described as a good thing. Divided opinion means at least they are doing something original and can generate a response, rather than these generic 'amazing' bands that have been mentioned already and don't get any coverage - there's a reason for that! The fact these people are taking time out of their day to hate on My Passion is a complete waste of time, and will only make it sweeter for the boys and their fans when they experience even more success in the future.

Congrats again boys, you really deserve this :D

i love the way you've put "Avenged Sevenfold unveil their new drummer", if kerrang, your on about mike portony or w/e his surname is, at least say something like Avenged Sevenfold unveil who'll be recording the drum tracks for the new album.

I hate to say it, but, since the Sonisphere issue last year when I started buying the magazine regularly there's been about 2 metal bands on the cover. My Passion are alright and I'm not going to diss them but as a devoted metalhead I really want to see more metal bands on the cover.
However, I will say that since the new editor got in the magazine has indeed gone to absolute BOLLOCKS.

Well.. Thanks for posting my letter in your magazine? Not. I wrote you a fucking essay you bitches and for what? I wouldn't have minded at all if you just used a small section. All I wanted was my name in your magazine.. BUT NO.

Anyway. This weeks posters were disappointing to say the least. I'm not into 80's music at all, so I was very disheartened when I saw the posters. I pray they are better next week.

Anyway. I quite LOL'ed at Alex and Zack's K! Quiz. In particular:

"7. Spell Chrysanthemum.
Jack: Are you kidding me? I can't even spell my own name!"

LOL xD

Although they didn't know who Oliver Skyes was.. I was surprised that they know so much useless shit, but not that, and the song where their own band name derived from.. lol...

What else was good? Yeah! I really liked the rumour page, that really caught my eye and was a great read xD

I havent got round to reading the entire My passion interview, but will do when I can be asked..

I really think you should give a HUGE ASS poster of the Rev, especially as his picture was cut out from the a7x article ¬¬ shame on you!

Hardly a rant, you're just telling everyone what you liked and disliked about the magazine, and you disliked what is probably the only good thing in it - the 80s posters. And I'm sure Kerrang made a huge mistake not putting your letter in since you are, obviously, the most important person in the world...
P.S. Stop going on about The Rev. Granted he was a great musician etc etc, but go to Metalhammer if you want tributes like that, Kerrang is a weekly magazine and has to move on to new news every week, get over it.

We gigged with these guys about a year ago, in front of about fifty people in Leeds - awesome live band, and cool dudes too, so go see em if you get a chance!

My Passion are such an amazing band :)
i've known and supported them for a few years now and i've watched them put in sooo much hard work! its beautiful to see it all finally pying off for them...big time! and this is just the start!

I think everyone above that is either complaining, ranting or whatever you want to call it should shut the hell up!
Kerrang have to do posters, interviews and everything else to suit everyone. All of the people that HATE my passion would probably love something like AC/DC, which my passion fans would probably hate.
They can't please everyone.
I'll be buying this just for the ATL K! quiz.

I think it's really fucking pathetic how K! have forgotten the legendary Black Sabbath when doing the "History of Rock" poster shit, considering the fact that Sabbath single-handidly created Heavy Metal, changed the entire world and without them, the work-shy cocksuckers at K! wouldn't even have fucking jobs.

I've also noticed that the only people defending K! and My Passion are teenage, gig-stalking scene-tramps who only buy into the fad because they want to fuck the band.

So are you fuckers honestly telling me that if the Elephant Man started up a band identical to My Passion you'd listen to them?

In yesterday's world, this comment would be met with praise, congratulation, celebration and little Irish Nuns willing to bare their buttocks for a hot, steamy session of A2M.

Okay, so most of you don't like My Passion but to be honest, i love them, I saw them when they supported Kill Hannah last year in Manchester.
I understand we all have opinions but is there really all this need of slagging bands off? I don't think there is... It's just quite childish. Grow Up!

great mag this week! i bought 2 copies :)
My Passion deserve this cover so much! they were the first band i ever saw live and were really nice. however i didn't just buy the mag twice just for them. i bought it twice coz i could have both Iron Maiden and Guns'n Roses on my wall. which is odd for a 15 year old girl. but i just happen to like metal, emo, punk and anyother genre under rock.
i'd just like to say Face it, Kerrang was never truely metal, they used to cover phil collins for christ sake! (as shown in the feedback page of a past K! mag) and people should just get over it and stop saying "this used to be a metal mag etc" perhaps you should be complementing K! on being able to cover such a wide range of bands.
i admit, i'm pissed off about Paramore being covered so much but they are talented musicians and perhaps deserve the coverage.
and regarding the argument about stickers in K! , i think its a fab idea, giving young rock fans the tools to cover their fave books/guitars/shoes etc with their fave bands and witty statements like "i blame mazza!" .

sorry for rambling on but i though id try to get my point across even though most on the site will simply ignore this.

P.S K! is great for reference pictures for sketching various rockstars. :)

I'm sorry, but this is pretty laughable. My Passion cover stars? Hilarious.
Not even touching on the fact that all they give a damn about lately is image > music and replenishing their makeup supplies, but they're such douches. Seriously, I saw them a couple years ago now at Norwich B2 when I swear about 15 people showed and they were the nicest guys ever. Conversations were held, merch was signed, pictures were posed for, the whole shebang. Unfortunately, now they seem to have all the depth of a shower. Talk about fame going straight to the head. Their music is mediocore at the very best, they've gotten far too big for their boots and are every 13 yr old girl's wet dream. On that case alone, I will not listen to them.

Your meant to put different bands on every week, not the same fucking one's.

Anyways, you guys go back to commenting Every Week on how you don't like the bands on the front cover, Your just middle aged Sado's.

Well, I for one am commenting because of the lack of VARIETY in the magazine. Just last year Kerrang! put some great bands on the cover, ranging from The Gaslight anthem to Lamb of God, and now all it does is cover Pop Punk/Rock like My Passion, All time Low, You me at Six etc etc.

I'm complaining, because if I don't, then how will Kerrang know that im pissed off?
By the way, im 15 and therefore not middle aged. And no I don't just like Metal :)
Hope that clears it up a bit, I agree some of the people complaining are being wankers

the best band i have ever seen live EVER they are so AMAZING !
my passion do not only care about image i met laurence and he is the nicest guy i have ever met they gave 110% into their performance the energy and atmosphere was unreall and they have worked hard to get to where they are i think they deserve to be on the front cover of kerrang ! <3

Yeah, you are supposed to put different bands on the cover each week, but it's better if the bands are pretty much the same anyways. Have you not noticed the ridiculous amount of Paramore, and all the 'pop-punk' like You Me At Six and My Passion. Yes, Kerrang's target demographic is changing, but they can't forget the metal and true rock fans who made the fucking magazine what it is.

I do however like bands like All Time Low, and Forever The Sickest Kids, as well as Billiy Talent, Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica and Rammstein, so don't argue that Kerrang is a varied magazine because I've been reading it for 4 years and it isn't at all. I do buy Metal Hammer too, because I like reading about metal, as well as the 'pop-punk' and emo bands Kerrang cover.

People who don't like My Passion have much as a right to comment as their fans, it's called free speech. People like you who try to censor this right is the problem, people can have different opinions, but we can all say what we think. You may like My Passion, but I don't, I have the right to say that, and should be able to without people attacking that.

I rarely cooment anyway, least of all about bands I don't like, but if I want to then you have no right to try to censor me. I will complain, because otherwise how will Kerrang know what people think of their magazine. Also, this "middle aged saddo" is sixteen and yeah, I like metal, but it's not all I like. My Passion seem like a band thats popularity is based on image, and they put no effort into getting the rewards, just like the people who win the X-Factor and what not. They don't deserve the cover of Kerrang, but they are on the cover it to get all the little scenes and emos to buy it, and they are losing buyers, I know many people who no longer buy Kerrang because of the lack of variety, a point which you use to justify My Passions cover, variety which no longer exists. Yeah, some people are just victimizing the band, but in truth they shouldn't be on the cover, hopefully you'll understand why people have an issue, maybe not with the bands, but with the road Kerrang is taking.

Oh, and don't say crap about people who make a negative or critical comment about a band you like, we aren't all middle aged saddo's, we have a different opinion to you, so don't stereotype. People think that because I'm 16 I must love these bands, and I don't. I love metal, but I like other stuff, but I don't like people presuming shit about me.
So I'm gonna just go crawl back under my rock and listen to Metallica, until next week, and if there is another invaried, or underserving band on the cover, I will critisize it, because I have the right to
