More Download 2010 news!

Following our earlier announcement that Rage Against The Machine and Aerosmith will join AC/DC as headliners of the Kerrang!-sponsored Download festival, we've got another exclusive for you...

30 Seconds To Mars, Stone Sour, Five Finger Death Punch, Lamb Of God and ‘80s rocker Billy Idol will also be appearing at the festival which is set to take place at Donington Park in Leicestershire between June 11 and 13.

“We always have a special relationship with our audience and we plan on giving people an unforgettable night at Download,” 30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto tells K!. “Our last time at that festival was fucking amazing: the crowd were phenomenal and it was just an incredible day, and that’s what makes us want to go back. It’s going to be a pretty special show.”

“We are thrilled to return to Download!” says Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler. “Getting to play this festival in 2007 was incredible and we are preparing to make this next one in 2010 unforgettable! Without question this is going to be the show of 2010. We will be ready! Will you?”

Tickets for Download 2010 are on sale now from www.downloadfestival.co.uk. Weekend tickets cost £145, optional extras are priced as follows: camping tickets (three days) £25, camping tickets (five days) £35, family camping (three days) £25, family camping (five days) £35, car park passes £15 advance or £20 on the day, campervans £40 and lockers £11.

How can folk moan about download so much this year - ACDC, Rage Against the Machine and Aerosmith. It kick sonisphere's ass, ACDC are and Aerosmith are rock legends. Wont 30 seconds to mars get bottled, they are much more emo than MCR??
