Thats why i listen to to bands like cKy, Cynic, Protest The Hero, Racer X and Neverore. These bands have talent unlike shitty 4 chord pop punk bands like YM@6, MCR, Fall Out Boy e.c.t. Every song by a pop ponk band is a recycled riff used over and over again. Sam shit with Metalcore. Every metalcore song is chugg chugg chugg when it could be more original. Listen to cKy, Cynic e.c.t and they come up with original stuff, sell over 500,000 copis and still remain in the underground.

First of all, this is not about Dio. Nobody can contest his significance in musical history.

The reason this piece of news is important is that they had to cancel shows, as the headline reads. Like it or not, some people might have purchased tickets for this Australian tour and would like to know that the headlining act has changed from MCR to Jimmy Eat World... And giving a reason for cancelling shows is usually considered a good thing.

In addition, we have not actually heard Gerard Way "whining like a girl about it" - the post was made by one of his bandmates...
