The return of Garbage?

Shirley Manson has revealed that she’s been in the studio with her former Garbage bandmates guitarist Steve Marker, bassist Duke Erikson and drummer Butch Vig.

"Guess who I just spent a week in the studio with?" she wrote in a FaceBook post yesterday (February 1). "Would you be pleased if I said one of them was called Steve and one of them was called Duke and another was a Grammy-winning producer?"

The Anglo-American rockers disbanded in 2006 and released their Greatest Hits collection, Absolute Garbage, in 2007.

Garbage have been the influence for my music for so long. They're a great band and Shirleys voice is just...amazing. If they return it will be awsome.

@ R - seriously why would a band who sub headlined in 2005, headline the same festival 5 years later after not playing or recording with each other for four of those last five years!?! Nice try but your post is an epic fail mate.
