Aiden cancel European tour

Aiden have been forced to cancel their European tour.

The band, who were due to hit the UK next month with Saosin, apparently were a little premature saying their were still able to make the trek after Saosin pulled out of the tour last week due to financial concerns.

"I guess I jumped the gun,” says the band’s frontman Will Francis. “Once Saosin pulled out of the tour a few of the promoters weren't to keen on having to pull the tickets in, refund them all, then issue new ones. That coupled with some of the shows having to change venues and us trying to find a new mode of transportation, the logistics of trying to pull all of this off in three weeks is nearly impossible.

"I know it's hard for everyone out there right now, the economy has everything twisted in knots,” he added. “It's very hard to be in a band (unless you're Metallica) and provide for a family at the same time. Believe me, all we want to do is come to your town and rock, and that is what we will do."

Refunds will be available from the point of purchase.

They have not cancled i wish kerrang would fucking state facts instead of twisting it like they are from some chick flick tabloid. On the Official Aiden myspace which this has been taken from he states all the above apart from one small paragraph that states. WE ARE NOT CANCELING THE TOUR WE ARE POSTPONING UNTIL DECEMBER. And they are going making a new studio album in that time.

Does anyone know if i have to get a refund and re-order tickets for december or would it be possible to use the tickets i already have????

aaaaaaaaaawwww... cmon give kerrang! a break. they made a few mistakes. but to be fair even aidens wikipedia got it right... oh dear kerrang! we may have ti turn wiki to get a reliable source these days...

You NEVER state the facts do you ... just blow shit out of proportion .. and to be fair i bought your shite magazine today and you had an article on aiden which you ended with " aiden start the tour in april"

Actually, I had an email from ticketline. It's been cancelled, they want their tickets back.
Aiden will be doing their own tour in December, Saosin aren't coming - I got that from the band personally via Twitter.

Maybe you should wait for an official announcement before jumping on the backs of others?
