Green Day: Rock Band set for summer release

MTV Games have confirmed that the upcoming Green Day edition of the hugely popular Rock band video games franchise will be released this summer.

The game, which allows you to “progress through the story and history of Green Day” is set to include a staggering 47 Green Day anthems and will have over 100 exclusive unlockable images and more than 40 minutes of rare and previously unreleased video content.

Green Day: Rock Band will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii on June 7.

In related news, Green Day will play four UK and Irish dates this summer, which are as follows:

June
16 Manchester, Lancashire County Cricket Ground
19 London, Wembley Stadium
21 Glasgow, SECC
23 Dublin, Marlay Park

Seeing them at Pinkpop in Holland in the summer. Should be great like in october when i saw them.
This news was on their website several days ago, but tbh i find all these games a waste of time. i played on guitar hero or something at a friend's house and it was really boring compared to actually playing a guitar. Green Day are amazing but i don't think it will persuade me to buy it.

I went and saw them in melbourne (aus) twice in december last year....they ruled!
