Iron Maiden name new album

Get excited, metal fans, Iron Maiden have announced that their new album will be due out in late summer!

In a posting on www.ironmaiden.com, the British metal titans revealed that it will be called The Final Frontier, and that it will be preceded by a US tour with prog-metallers Dream Theater, before they hit Sonisphere and other festivals in Europe in August.

Nice album title. But, are ‘Arry’s ‘Ammers trying to tell us something about album number 15?

Iron Maiden will never stop playing and making new albums. Plus they only got Ed Force One in 2008 it would be a waste to of money to give up now and millions of maiden fans would be pissed

Iron Maiden always said they wanted to do 15 albums. Judging by the name it looks like the last album they will make, but i hope not

did they buy ed force one or borrow/rent it from the airline that Bruce flies for? It seemed to still have that companies name on the side of the engines.

Who knows if this will be the last album? I don't expect them to give up if they're still up for it though. Depends how motivated they are, I guess.

One thing for sure though: How awesome does that American tour with Dream Theater look?! If only they brought that to the UK...

Hi ya.

The aircraft is apart of the company which Bruce is a Captain for. it is not owned by Iron Maiden, I work for the same company and have for over five years and been a Maiden fan since I was 15 so it is really cool for me too be in the same enviornment as a ROCK GOD.

If this is the last album I hope they go out on a high. The worst thing is bands going on and on and releasing tired repetetive albums that show they are running out of steam. Look forward to Sonisphere and UP THE IRONS!!!!!

That's the sad part, Maiden is not ac/dc repeating themselves. They keep releasing great albums, it's a shame if they stop, but Nicko looks tired by now though.

Hi guys. I flew Ed Force One to Lisbon in 2008. Met Bruce. Nobody like him. He's just a magnificent talented person. The new album was released on 14th, yesterday, I'm listening to it as I speak. Nothing on earth like this band. Mankind needs to be grateful they even exist. The history they tell is just class. This album is very like the last one and I'm not gona say its better. It equals it. Both magnificent masterpieces. Steve Harris is a living legend. Pray to god they're not finished. UP THE IRONS !!
