"We are not reforming!"

Former Refused frontman Dennis Lyxzen has dismissed rumours that the band are to reform.

On March 27, a message, which simply read "Coming soon...", was posted on www.officialrefused.com, leading to speculation that the Swedish hardcore foursome were set to reunite and perform at European festivals over the summer.

However, in an e-mail sent to LA-based music and gossip site, Buddyhead, Lyxzen wrote: "No, we are not reforming. Me and David [Sandström, former Refused drummer] are going on tour next week with our new Hardcore band Ac4 - sleeping on kids floors and playing door deals, that seems to be more in line with what we deserve... haha."

Normally when someone posts a pointless comment saying 'you sucked first time round' i ignore it. This time however i feel i have to call you a massive twat. If you don't care...don't post. It's that simple. Refused are a fantastic band and appeal to people across many genres of music, i feel sorry for you they didn't get to you in such a way

The guy who said they suck is probaly a huge paramore fan and loves fall out boy and my chemical romance, bands that started nothing, only followed others.

He's also some scene kid who wheres drain pipes because his mates do. Some emo wanna be!! Refused suck, what a dick.

To the guy who wrote that, name me a band you like out of the past 10 years who have influenced the rock scene more than refused. And NO you me at 6 started nothing before you say that you scene fuck!

i love the guy above's (balh) comment, if you say refused suck dick then they know not the meaning of new noise!!

i fecking love refused and i a gutted to hear that they're not reforming :( i was looking foward to getting a broken limb at one of the gigs x] would have been a blast!

once again i a heart broken to hear that (8) refused are fucking dead (8)
