We Are The Fallen get set for debut album

We Are The Fallen, the band featuring ex- Evanescence members Ben Moody (guitar), John LeCompt (guitar) and Rocky Gray (drums), ex-Distrubed bassist Marty O'Brien and former American Idol contestant Carly Smithson, have signed to Universal Republic Records.

The band will release their debut album, Tear The World Down, on May 10.

In related news, We Are The Fallen are offering a free download of an acoustic version of their latest single, Bury Me Alive, here.

The band will make their worldwide live debut in London later this month (March 23). For tickets, see www.aloud.com.

Their new song Without You or whatever-- was disappointing. I really liked Bury Me Alive so I was excited to hear the new one. It was just boring and bland, nothing stood out.
Wonder if Ev's new album will be better than what Moody has done with We Are The Fallen.

Basically We Are The Fallen is Evanescence without Amy Lee, which really fucks up everything. Thank God Amy Lee is releasing a new album with Ev by herself, it'll be far better than any crap Ben Moody can come up with!

LOLOLOLOLOL OL

this is going to go straight down hill...
and obviously Ev's new album is going to kick ass!!

this band will get no were especially with the fact that they are TRYING to be Evanescence and failing miserably at it :')

I hate to say it (ok, I'm lying) but Evanescence are going to wipe the floor with this lot. Usually I don't like to take sides and tear down bands for bearing a similarity to another one, but this is clearly an attempt to re-create Evanescence and I don't think it will work. As much as I adore and fully support female-fronted metal, I can't take this band seriously. Just my opinion. I don't wish them failure or anything like that, I'm not THAT hung up about it, but I can't see them making the waves that Ev did (and will, with album no.3 which is already a hot topic...)

More of the same... move along nothing to see here. At least, Evanescence try to do something different with each new album.
