Gerard Way wanted part in black metal movie

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way says he'd love to have been asked to appear in the big screen docufilm, Until The Light Takes Us, which is based on the Norwegian black metal movement of the early '90s.

The film, which is currently screening at selected cinemas around the UK, features exclusive interviews with the scene's protagonists including Burzum mainman Varg Vikernes who, up until recently, was in prison for burning churches and murdering Mayhem's Oystein Aarseth.

"I can't wait for [it to come out in the US]," says Way. "Can I play a guy from Emperor just in the background, practicing his synth while other peeps are burning [churches]?

"I just want to be a guy in the back with one line like 'Varg, you haf gone too far! Thees iz madness - we must practice!'," he added.

Another stupid post about MCR, when he obviously doesn't understand why the BM scene emerged and the European changes that came from that and were happening at the time.

Why does someone always have to say how pointless the news articles are on here? Does somebody make you click on the link and read it? You could always read the metal hammer site. I'm not a mcr fan but i read it cos its something to read. Take it for what it is or don't read it, better still, start your own site and u can report whatever news you like and have other people comment about how pointless it is.

I remember when the news broke, and the pointless shitstorm that ensued.

It showed just how stupid the band's fans were when they stood in protest outside the Daily Mail's london headquarters, nobody could see that she became obsessed with the album's concept.
