New Foo Fighters album due in 2011

Foo Fighters will release the follow up to 2007's Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace next year.

"Dave [Grohl]'s got 15 or so song ideas that are awesome and we've already demoed some of them twice even," drummer Taylor Hawkins told Spinner Music. "It's a large process for us. It takes a long time to do it. We don't just say, 'OK, let's go make a record and pop in the studio and record it just like that.' There's a lot of preproduction that goes into making a Foo Fighters record. We do a lot of demoing to find exactly the arrangements we want, getting them exactly how we want them."

Foo fights are a fantastic band on CD but playing live is a different story dave never seems to hit the right notes.

Love foo fighters but dave should stick to songwriting and drumming

Come off it. The Foos are incredible live. The Wembley Stadium gig is nothing short of immense.

The foo's are really great , every song the have are fab !
Dave Grohl is a great song writer and just as good drummer.

can wait for it should be good . the person that said that he hits wrong notes wise up the guy moves around and sing and plays at the same time to a packed out gig so if he does hit a wrong not so what after years of playing he as gona make a msitake at some point in his life.

btw people who say foos arent good live generally just say that because they didnt go to see them live. Hyde Park, 02 arena and wembley was fucking awesome

Dude the foo fighter's are awesome.

Too be honest anyone who is of the opinion Dave Grohl is bad in any way is a fool.

I mean he has been in several bands, plays guitar, drums and sings and in my opinion is an absolute legend!!!!

a man multi tasking on a drand scale, immense lol.THE GROHL is fantastic,a real nice guy i was lucky enough to be in the presense of his gr8ness at old trafford in 2006.love th foo's can't wait 4 th new stuff

LOL cant play live hahahahahahahahaha, that makes me laugh. Thats why they sell out every show, sell millions upon millions of albums and thats why millions upon millions of people want and would love to see a new album and tour. Best band of the last 15 years without a doubt. Dave Grohl will go down in history "rock legend"
