Poison frontman Bret Michaels is said to be in a stable condition following a brain haemorrhage.
Michaels, who underwent emergency surgery to remove his appendix earlier this month, was rushed to an undisclosed hospital on Thursday night after suffering excruciating headaches, according to TMZ.com. Doctors said the vocalist had experienced subarachnoid haemorrhage, which is bleeding at the base of his brain stem.
According to TMZ, the 47-year-old will be closely monitored for the next 48 hours.
