Travis Barker solo album due September

Travis Barker has revealed their his debut solo album is set to be released in September.

The Blink 182 drummer says the as-yet-untitled album will be a "well-rounded" combination of rock and hip-hop.

"There's some stuff on my record that's not going to have a bunch of guitars, that are just straight-up hip hop records," he wrote on his Twitter. "Everything's going be real different. It's going to be really well-rounded."

As previously reported, the album will feature a guest appearance from Slipknot's Corey Taylor as well as rappers Lil Wayne and RZA.

ah, he should have done this a while ago, although I dislike blink 182's music, he's a good drummer ;). Corey Taylor is awesome so that's cool but Lil wayne and who? lol I might give those tracks a miss...

Angels and Airwaves album came out Valentines Day, Mark Hoppus' Trousdale Press album in the next month or two, Travis Barker's solo album due in September. WHO CARES! We want Blinks album!!

ugh so much solo and side project stories with these guys, i just want a blink album, it is starting to get annoying. they claim to reform but dont actually do a album just go around playing old stuff -.-

WTF?! after the 'reunion' last year I expected them to have released a new blink album by now and started announcing plans for a proper world tour, not playing a North American tour and just a few dates in europe (why scotland and not england as well!) blink really need to start taking their reunion seriously!
