Avenged Sevenfold make live return

Avenged Sevenfold will make their live return in August as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival.

It will be the Orange County metallers' first tour since the tragic death of their drummer, Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan, who passed away in December.

Avenged will coheadline the 36-date trek - which kicks off on August 17 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and concludes on October 4 in Wisconsin Madison - with labelmates Disturbed. Also on the bill are Stone Sour, Halestorm, Hellyeah and Airbourne.

Anyway - good on the guys for getting back out there, I'm sure it'll be quite bittersweet for them, but Jimmy wouldn't want them to stop doing what they all love so much. It's good for the fans too, will let them pay their respects.
Would be nice to see this line-up in the UK too, I agree.

I wonder who their new drummer will be though?

People like Andymark need to learn to shut the fuck up. Seriously, it is one thing to not like a band but it is another thing to wish that they'd die! Jimmy's death was incredibly tragic and it's fucking wrong to wish that on anyone else.

Now, back to the topic at hand. I'm so incredibly excited for this tour, although I wish I could go... It's good to see A7X playing their music for Jimmy though.
