The Relentless Energy Drink Kerrang! Awards - the biggest, the best and the most outrageous of all awards ceremonies - is set to return to a top secret location in London on July 29, and you could be there!

Renowned the world over for its wild guests, chaotic shenanigans, copious amounts of alcohol and all-round hell raising, The Relentless Energy Drink Kerrang! Awards is the number one date in any rock star's diary. However, the only way your favourite stars will get to go - and be in with a chance of walking away with one of our much-coveted K! trophies - is if you vote for them!

"The Relentless Energy Drink Kerrang! Awards always proves itself to be the most rock 'n' roll event on the calendar and this year is guaranteed to be no different," says Kerrang! Editor Nichola Browne. "You guys have impeccable taste when it comes to honouring the biggest and best talent in the rock world and the last 12 months has seen some stellar releases and live shows, so the competition is going to be fierce! Get voting - your favourite bands need your help to make the shortlist!"

Kerrang! readers will be able to vote in the eight categories listed on this page with a further five awards - The Hall Of Fame Award, The Icon Award, The No Half Measures Award presented by Relentless Energy Drink, The Kerrang! Inspiration Award presented by HMV and The Classic Songwriter Award - being awarded by the K! judging panel.

You vote online at awards.kerrang.com. Every person who votes, and is over the age of 18, will be entered into a draw to win the chance to get their hands on a pair of VIP tickets for The Relentless Energy Drink Kerrang! Awards! Rev should not get icon people!!!! Don't get me wrong he was an awesome drummer and a7x will not be the same without him, but he should not get the icon award as a gesture of sympathy to rest of the band (as that's basically what you're all meaning or something along the lines anyway) and not to mention that the band haven't released anything in the past year (excluding the nightmare single) which, if you ask me rules them out of the chance for icon. But they still do have a strong chance for best international band and best single in my opinion. Deftones for icon!!!

I think Young guns should get best live band.
They are amazing live. Best British new comer is so hard to choose this year. So many good UK bands starting up at the moment. Also FFAF are the best ever. Please vote for young guns(they can't be voted for in best newcomer)

Avenged Sevenfold really deserve an award.

They've been keeping music alive, songs like I Won't See You Tonight Part 1 are in a league of their own.

And The Rev was an amazing songwriter and drummer, he really deserves the Icon award.

Hey! Paramore is awesome i think they deserve everything they are nominated for. They have non stop success lately and deserves to be recognized for it. For all the Paramore haters maybe if you guys went and actually listened to their music before judging it you would realize how great they are.

what the hell happened to kerrang, playin shit... seiously, 30 seconds to mars have sold out they WERE a great band now they suk, and y r dommin only up for one award these guys RULE.... i have seen them live and believe me they are THE best live act i have ever seen and i have seen plenty of live bands, go dommin is all i can say, Rock is changin for the worst wot happened to the head bangin rifts ect i mean in all honestly all time low, you me at six c'mon people these are boy bands wiv guitars

Is anyone else really pissed off at people who say they love 30 Seconds To Mars so much but have only ever heard The Kill and Kings And Queens and will have completely forgotten about them when the next band they wanna pretend to like comes around in a few months time. All it does is give the real fans a bad name. I have nothing bands becoming a little bit more mainstream if it happens naturally as theyre sound evolves but too many bands are being subjected a load of false hate just because a load of wannabies pretend to be their fans.
