Glee goes Kiss

First they covered Journey's Don't Stop Believin', then they covered The All-American Rejects' Gives You Hell and Aerosmith's Dream On, now hit American TV show Glee have turned their hand to covering Kiss.

In episode 20 of the show, which aired in the UK last week, the cast of Glee cover Kiss' 1976 hits Shout It Out Loud and Beth.

Check out a clip from the show here. However we're not sure why The Demon is playing drums...

OH NO!

A band that sold out DECADES ago (KISS coffins, anyone?), appearing on a TV show - that we shouldn't even be watching - for money!?

Who gives a fuck?

I do get quite amused at the amount of people on here who take Glee seriously. It's not meant to be taken seriously.

Glee is a funny show that is pretty diferent to most of the comidies on right now. If you don't like the cover, don't listen to it. Loads of shows have had Within Temptation on and a lot have had Cannibal Corpse on - don't see anyone complaining about that.

Seriously, this isn't a big deal.

people think its amazing but they dont realize how much the songs are being ruined by "glee"

they killed the all-american rejects too.
My little sister watches it. I feel deeply ashamed of her...

This show takes songs, filters all the coolness, and your left with what used to be a good song turned into a fag fest.

Clever of them to wear the wrong makeup for the wrong instruments. Idiots. Okay it's a joke but they still could of done the dressing up portion right!

Tenner bets 99% of you have never even watched a full episode of glee. And if any of you HAD actually watched this particular episode, you would know that each character who took part in the song took on one of the band member's personnas to suit their own personality, and also just played whatever instrument they play in every episode. Finn, who just so happened to be dressed as 'The Demon', always plays the drums, so everyone just get over yourselves and stop being such music snobs. A lot of people enjoy Glee and if you don't, well frankly, no one else gives a shit.

1 - I find it highly ironic you all call this a "faggy" show when Glee combats homophobia.

2 - You're all poor excuses for metal fans. Read Terrorizer instead. At least, though they hate Glee (and I don't blame them, I didn't say it wasn't bad musically :P), they accept all sexualities and gender IDs.

3 - Grow up.

At least they aren't just ruining rock songs... they're being consistant and ruining the likes of motown, pop, rnb, country, and even showtunes!

@ A Goth, you said that the people on here are poor excuses for metal fans when K! posts next to no metal at all and is mainly aimed at people who like Paramore and You Me Six. I'm not having a go btw i'm just saying. (:

I'm not that bothered by Glee, their covers are alright but I think they should stick to Lady Gaga.

Glee is a fantastic program and is musically brilliant.

This program and it's take on established songs makes so many people happy and isn't tha what music is for?

What difference does it make to you if you dont like it? Don't listen to it. You don't need to be an elitest prick, the music IS NOT YOURS.

Posted by Tim | June 17, 2010 1:43 PM | Reply to this

This is a fucking disgrace. Glee should not exist, and it does matter that they're currently ruining the whole musical production of the last century!! Have you heard their cover for Queen's Somebody to love?? A fucking pile of crap! It's sad as fuck to hear a fucked up auto tuned teenage bitch doing all her fucking harmonizing stuff on it trying to do like Freddie... Honestly, when are the producers behind all these shows going to stop? Do they need to rip us all off and make some more money out of slaughtering music?

Posted by Bert | October 11, 2010 9:57 AM | Reply to this

Glee is, to out it bluntly; awful. How many brilliant classic songs have they shitted up with their pathetic attempts at music now? I mean my sister watches it for a laugh so I've ended up having to put up with it for a couple of episodes. Haven't seen such angsty, teenage shit since Black Parade was released. It's basically typical of today's "pop culture". Okay rant finished.
