wow, i just don't know why people who don't like bands waste their time reading about them and then leaving comments that are really just a waste of space! :)

really looking forward to seeing them again, but it's going to be a really odd atomosphere knowing the rev should be there but isn't.
ps, album is amazing, they always deliver :) Favourite from it has to be God hates us. i'm loving that they have gone back to some of their heavier roots!
Pity I killed myself with all the fucking drugs and booze I was on. Ah well.

Jimmy didn't kill himself. He accidentally OD'ed on prescription medications. And that "Big Bearded Guy" would be Nightmare Mike Portnoy! I am so glad that A7X was able to return to the stage last night. I had the band in my prayers yesterday because I knew this would be a big step for them but they proved once again just how tough they are. They stood up to the challenge. I hope that A7X will continue after this tour but if not, they have the support of their family, friends, and fans. We are right there with you guys every step!!

despite the fact he died of natural causes, and you posing as a dead guy not only makes you the lowest form of person in the world, but also makes you look like a lowlife, safe fucker, haha, I pity you
but on an A7X note - hopefully ima mission too london from Cardiff for the A7X/Stone Sour :)

@ Jimmy The Drugs Sullivan
Fuck off you pathetic prick. Have some fucking respect for people.

Haha "the big bearded guy", he's one of the best drummers in the world! Glad to see them make a return anyway

just to clarify, The Rev didnt die of "natural causes", it was acute polydrug intoxication, including alcohol and valium amongst other things.
still, the guy posing up there is a fucking clahn.
glad to see them back on the live scene, november should be pretty fucking sweet

NO BAT COUNTRY?!?!?!

Haha, "that 'big bearded guy'" made me lol.
He happens to be Mike Portnoy and the reason avenged got him, was because he was the revs inspiration. In my honest opinion, he's nailed the drumming, sounds just like the rev.

I was there! It was really emotionally charged, but also freaking awesome!
The guys openly said that they were really nervous and scared to play without The Rev for the 1st time, above all Synyster before the song So Far Away.
Portnoy did a great job, even if some assholes boo-ed him when Shadows thanks him to be there with them.

Jimmy The Drugs Sullivan is a legend, wish I could see him, but I'm dead from My Chem, see you at The Black Parade!
Don't you just love trolls acting as dead people? So low....
On a different note, gonna be good in October in London. Can't wait!
Posted by Elliot | July 27, 2010 12:25 AM | Reply to this
hey to the imposter get off the laptop and go sign on down the dole its obvious that you don't have a job thus meaning you spend all the day commenting on meaningless things such as this. but since you do have time surely you've researched into the result of his death? 7 months on and not a day goes by without the a7x army missing him.
Posted by a7xliam | July 27, 2010 12:43 AM | Reply to this
why are some people so fkin low tht they fink its funny to act as dead people. do u like having people hu wnt to kick the shit out of u? one day its bound to happen mate. i just hope they do a good job on you.

im happy that the band played well even though i wasnt there, wish i was tbh. it was a big step for them, after the rev sadly dieing of natural causes. im sure the band dont let a day go by without thinking of him. he will be rememebered. but i think its a bit wrong to have someone else being the drummer, as their's isnt here anymore. they should have left it longer, or not carried on as A7X. xx
Posted by amy louise | July 27, 2010 2:52 AM | Reply to this
whoever the dick is who said he was "The Drugs"....you are a waste of space and should be in Jimmy's place as dead right now. :D. nobody cares about, you pathetic, wannabe ass-hat. too bad nobody will miss you when you die, unlike Jimmy, where thousands will miss him foREVer.
i'm so glad that A7X decided to continue...the new record is beautiful, beyond belief. can't wait to get it, i love them boys like nobody knows. Portnoy isn't Jimmy, nowhere near, but he did a great job, and deserves a highfive or seven.

Look at you spastics, all acting like you knew him personally.
Looking at some videos on YouTube shows that he was a decent guy, who deserves alot more than some whiny scenesters moaning over him when they never knew him, and never met him.
R.I.P.
Fuck You.

Avenged sevenfold are the new MCR. Loved by emo shites and tweebs alike. Plus the rev was a fantastic drummer. However he was a complete fuckhead.
Posted by Panterex | July 27, 2010 8:44 AM | Reply to this
And A7X Army? AKA MCRMY Really.... Mcr fans literally dropped them like a bag of burning shit and moved on to a7X when they became more "emotional" and "cool" and "dats metulz" just to look better infront of their year 11 tweeb friends.
Posted by Panterex | July 27, 2010 8:50 AM | Reply to this
The bearded guy is pretty cool ;)
Oh and trolls, do you really have nothing better to do with your lives than look for attention on here? Why don't you go and listen to Bathory and Vader in your mums basement and feel metal about yourselves...
Posted by Ben | July 27, 2010 9:27 AM | Reply to this
Panterex, given you name I thought you'd have understood what it's like to have a member of your favourite band die/murdered. Maybe, instead of slagging off a band and telling everyone your theory on why Avenged Sevenfold are the new MCR, you'd put all of that to one side and accept that for a band to come back to TOUR, let alone release an album, after losing a member is an extremely hard thing to do and needs to be commended.
Or, you're just upset that your darling, most wonderful, best-band-in-the-world Pantera will NEVER reform in any way, shape or form and you're simply jealous that other bands are continuing and you feel like taking it out on the one that, rightly or wrongly, has divided opinion amongst the alternative community in the hope that people will support you. You're at the wrong place, you need a Pantera fanboy site for that. So leave here and go there, ok?
Posted by Elliot | July 27, 2010 10:17 AM | Reply to this
shut the fuck up! thats some low shit to say shit like that!! grow up!!! the album is awesome and so is the band ;)

@Elliot
Dimebag was killed by a complete cunt.
The rev did it himself. its a tragedy and i thought he was awesome as i said. But still he died from being a twat, messing around with drugs. As did a member of my other fave band slipknot. and i think that paul was an idiot with everything going for him.
and come on its true, since mcr "died" a7x have gained so many Wemo fans. i saw them at soni last year and i never said i didnt like A7X infact they were very good. Oh and Pantera werent the best band in the world, but they did influence fuck loads of current bands, eg Lamb of god.
Posted by Panterex | July 27, 2010 9:12 PM | Reply to this
I was there, and it was very emotional to hear So Far Away, with the big background with the picture of the Rev !
Posted by potomax | July 27, 2010 9:55 PM | Reply to this
to Panteraex come on you say theyve gained fans since MCR has died so does that count for fucking Paramore YouMeAtSix? they've earned thier place man and A7X where influenced by Pantera (did a cover of one of thier songs) he probably did touch drugs back in the hey day about early 20's but he grew out of that by the time of 2007 came,

a7xliam.
Im an avenged sevenfold fan but you are a complete tosspot yes jimmy was a fantastic drummer and his talents will be sorely missed.
But it does not alter the fact that drugs were found in his system you cant deny the facts ass face if you take drugs you die end of.
An amazing talent yes, nice guy yes, persistant drug taker hell yes
Posted by Sam | July 28, 2010 12:12 PM | Reply to this
as i said he probably was a drug taker back in his young days but what am trying to say is that he probably stopped over recent years! and since where talking about facts read this

It's sad knowing that there are trolls that exist who pose as dead people over the internet. I mean, posing as Jimmy Sullivan was low, but Hannah Bond, a thirteen year old who took her own life? Get a fucking grip and stop wasting your time.
Posted by Shannon | July 29, 2010 5:02 PM | Reply to this
You sick fuck. It was an accidental overdose, he mixed presciption drugs with beer for fuck sake. How can you discard him as a druggie? He was a hero. Go fucking rot.

OI OI OI! DONT YOU DARE DISS THE REV! :( HE WAS AWESOME!
Posted by esher | July 31, 2010 6:17 AM | Reply to this
@ Panterex. They've always had the emo fans from their old albums ? well observed, also The Rev was on medication, so drugs that help him not drugs the give him a quick buzz. I could say Dimebag was a cunt for not dodging the bullet but hey ;]
