Hayley Williams on course for Number One single

After clocking up a Number One album in the UK with Paramore's latest long player, Brand New Eyes, back in September of last year, Hayley Williams is set to notch up her first Number One single this weekend.

Airplanes, the singer's collaboration with rapper B.O.B. is currently topping the UK singles chart. And, according to the midweek reports it is several thousand copies ahead of the Number Two single, Love The Way You Lie by Eminem and Rihanna.

Let this be a lesson. If your band is shit, do a song with a reasonably popular singer and get to number one from that, thus proving how shit your own band is. Lets be honest...the only reason you guys constantly complain about Paramore is because they're always in Kerrang! and not all of the less successful or in demand bands that you like. The end of the day, Kerrang! are just doing there job by writing about the bands that are big right now, appealing to a mass market rather than a niche. You can tell it's bands like Paramore that the readers want to read about, because they're always nominated for K! awards, etc. If you don't like the bands that Kerrang! cover, then don't click the link and don't buy the magazine.
