because he wasn't as influential as Dio and Paul. he was good and all but the stuff Dio did for metal is so much to be grateful for and Paul, well as Corey said, he was the heart of Slipknot, one of the coolest, greatest and influential metal bands of the 21st century.

who gives a fuck if the rev wasn;t as influential, if jarded leto died we wouldn't hear the last of it, so the rev should have been recognised as he was on of the best drummers around atm

michael i agree with completely its fukin wrong why not have amemorial thing for them all joint? like a big screen dedicated to them all? the rev was an influence, no matter what , he had a big influence on his brother and band mates and his family must b so proud of him... so fuk that shithe was an big influence especially on me

that's fuckin shit. The rev has been playing his whole life and even though i am a long time slipknot fan, paul is just as good as most bassist out there. the rev on the other hand is probably with the best of the drummers in the world. so i wouldn't talk about how he wasn't AS influential. that just sounds stupid and you obviously don't know how much the rev meant to avenged sevenfold and how they will never be the same without him. so don't try and say that he wasn't as influential cause you just sound like a fucking moron.
