Weezer will release a new album in September.
The alternative rockers, who will be playing the Reading and Leeds festivals in August, will release the as-yet-untitled follow-up to last year's Raditude on September 13.
"People are going to be hearing new Weezer very soon," frontman Rivers Cuomo told MTV news, before revealing that he's also been working with alt-country troubadour Ryan Adams.
"I just wrote a song with Ryan Adams. Not Bryan, Ryan," he says. "It's a very stirring, emotional and powerful Weezer song. He was really inspiring to work with - he has a lot of wild and crazy energy. He plays lead guitar on it, but it will be on the Weezer record, for sure."
