Avenged Sevenfold go Top 5 with Nightmare

Congratulations to Avenged Sevenfold who debuted at Number Five in the official UK Top 40 albums charts with their latest release, Nightmare.

Other movers and shakers on the album chart include Pendulum, who are up two places to 24 with Immersion, and 30 Seconds To Mars who are also up two places to 25 with This Is War.

Muse are up one place to 28 with The Resistance, and Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters re-enter the chart at 34 and 38 (respectively) with Only Revolutions and Greatest Hits.

On the singles charts we are sad to report that The Wanted are Number One with their new track All Time Low, and not All Time Low with a new single called The Wanted.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into HMV today to buy the album and saw it in the 'chart' section. XD
I'm glad it's so popular, it's a fantastic album and they deserve it. Can't wait to see them in October. :)

It's amazing to see Nightmare debut at number five. It's a fantastic album which has seen Avenged go from strength to strength. Jimmy would be so proud! Shame it couldn't have beaten Tom Jones though!

Oh, god, it's incredible to see this!! I was a little disappointed when looking around supermarkets in the chart section ... 'where the fuck is A7X!?' ... cue being stared at by an old lady. I agree that they do deserve this, it's a shame that Jimmy can't be here himself to see it happen, but I'm sure he knows, and wherever he is - as said - he's incredibly proud. To see them chart above the likes of Lady Gaga and Kylie Minogue ... stunning. Congrats, A7X - can't wait for October!!

I'm tryin not to be a prisoner of the moment but as a life long A7X fan, this is prob there best cd. I have always been a big metal guy and went they went soft, their talent, great song writing, and the best production in the buisness has kept them as my favorite . Of course i was very happy to hear some hard stuff but the balads on this albumn have really taking my head by storm. I hope they keep doin this so I cant wait to keep being blown away everytime they make a new albumn!!! A7X for life Well miss u Jimmy!!!
