BULLSHIT. No Scotland!? Fuck you Axl!

That's not a tour. That's three dates.
Fuck sake! Newcastle?

Posted by Gunner | August 3, 2010 11:29 AM | Reply to this

I think it's funny how basiclly every band is touring here at the end of the year. When no one has no money. Saying that tickets will probaly be £30+ and lets be honest your only paying to see Axl Rose....not really Guns N Roses is it?

In support of their album that came out last year
THEY no not they Axl Rose is all thats left so its his solo tour

Posted by Paul | August 3, 2010 11:34 AM | Reply to this

Axl Rose is Guns N Roses, Slash is an overrated blues player, the rest were smackheads... axl is a genius

Posted by Connor McGovern | August 3, 2010 11:36 AM | Reply to this

@Connor McGovern

Ermmm well who wrote the music in Guns N Roses? Slash! and Axl has wrote some classic song lyrics (Sweet Child O Mine, Paradise City) but lets me honest Slash and even Steven has done more work since they have left Guns N Roses than Axl.

Three dates isn't a tour and it's not the "UK" it's england.

Posted by Aiden | August 3, 2010 11:50 AM | Reply to this

and the moaning starts!! why do you do what i do and fucking travel insted of bitching about it. no matter how many times you say 'come here' they never will accept it and fucking travel. no matter if all 3 dates are in england or not its still known to americans as the UK. and it is an arena tour because those 3 venues have a huge capacity. so stop moaning and get off your arses and travel to a show

so, a UK tour is just England? I bet these are like, the only cities they like, know in the UK - Wales & Scotland are also part of the UK... this is 3 dates in england, not much of a tour

Posted by Lee J | August 3, 2010 12:04 PM | Reply to this

look at the space between london and birmingham dates, 4 days!! obvs more are gonna be announced soon so stop fucking moaning

Posted by matt | August 3, 2010 12:06 PM | Reply to this

it was actually november 2008 or so the album came out , i wouldn't be arsed going i saw them in '06 but itsa just not the same as the original line-up , people leave that band so often its hard to keep track

Posted by dingo | August 3, 2010 12:09 PM | Reply to this

What is it with you people.........do you all get turned on by moaning about everything or anything???.....why do people leave comments like slash is overrated and the rest are smackheads...GET A LIFE.... if you dont like someone, who cares......You might be GAY Connor, but who cares

Posted by HardRock72 | August 3, 2010 12:20 PM | Reply to this

How the hell is that a UK tour, if it's just England? The uk is England, SCOTLAND, IRELAND, AND WALES.

Posted by Caitlin | August 3, 2010 12:29 PM | Reply to this

Exactly my point HardRock72.

Posted by Classic rocker | August 3, 2010 12:31 PM | Reply to this

Because not all of have the money to travel you fucking dick.

Posted by Aiden | August 3, 2010 12:41 PM | Reply to this

"Slash is an overrated blues player"

Shows your lack of knowledge, atleast do some research on slash before making such a dumb comment.

Posted by DannyNR | August 3, 2010 12:51 PM | Reply to this

Ireland isnt part of the UK.

Posted by Nathan | August 3, 2010 1:12 PM | Reply to this

I love the way that Guns n Roses were meant to be playing their UK exclusive shows at Reading and Leeds fest and announce this. Great

Posted by Jamie | August 3, 2010 1:21 PM | Reply to this

Jamie....shut up.......im guessing that 1 of these shows will end early. Axl will most likely see a fly or something and say that the gig is over or a camera filming and order the person out. Waste of space tbh. He was awesome back in the day....before he became a control freak.

Posted by JB | August 3, 2010 1:25 PM | Reply to this

Ireland isnt in the Uk.. Parts of Northern Ireland are

Posted by ... | August 3, 2010 1:33 PM | Reply to this

so is just axl coming cuz by wot you all said it seems that way ?

Posted by sam | August 3, 2010 2:08 PM | Reply to this

To everyone moaning about bands not playing in Scotland, etc. Move.

Posted by Tom | August 3, 2010 2:30 PM | Reply to this

JB, I'm not having a go. I wont be at any of these shows caus to be honest, I couldnt give a shit about GNR. Im just saying that Reading and Leeds promoters said it was an exclusive show but yet theyre back 2 months after. I know he'll storm off stage, they shouldnt be at festivals caus it is a waste of money to see a band play 5 songs and then just walk off

Posted by Jamie | August 3, 2010 2:36 PM | Reply to this

Hi

All 6 counties of Northern Ireland are the UK not "Parts" lol

Posted by Baz | August 3, 2010 3:04 PM | Reply to this

UK tour! Its 3 dates, hardly a tour! And its not UK its england!!

Posted by siobhan | August 3, 2010 3:14 PM | Reply to this

Actually, Axl and his little circus are playing an arena show in Belfast (which is in the UK) at the end of this month... which actually leaves six weeks between dates but who's arguing? Why not wait to see the reviews of what happens here before thinking about getting tickets for the rest of the dates?

Posted by Mark | August 3, 2010 5:41 PM | Reply to this

stop moaning fools!
nearly all bands show a few dates for tours, and then add more in the following weeks or so.
so shutup :)
and yes it is gun's and roses, just cause slash isnt there.
theres no pleasing people these days.
jeeze.

Posted by Danni | August 3, 2010 5:50 PM | Reply to this

In support of the album that will be 2 years old by then xD Oh dear...

Posted by HollowNightmares | August 3, 2010 9:27 PM | Reply to this

I think everyone's missing the real issue here.....
£30+ to see the remains of a once-great band that has released one album in nearly 15 years.....which turned out to be the biggest flop ever.
Regardless of where and when they're playing these gigs, they'll ultimately be shit and easily forgettable....just like Axl Rose.

Posted by Frazz | August 3, 2010 11:39 PM | Reply to this

dont care what anyone says guns and roses dont exist without slash and duffy

its the axl rose show

Posted by dale | August 4, 2010 2:06 AM | Reply to this

It's a damn small "tour" fecking ages after the "very poor" album. It's never gona be the Guns n Roses we all wish we could see again.
Finding it bloody hard to think of a reason why i should go.
I'd enjoy Velvet Revolver or Slash more any day.

Aiden..................you put on your message....."Fucking dick"
if you like thatort of thing, then again thats your choice to be gay.............so again get a life :)

Posted by HardRock72 | August 4, 2010 10:02 AM | Reply to this

Hahaha gay insults, you're cool man!

I was just saying you all say "move, travel, etc" not all of us have money to do those kind of things.

Posted by Aiden | August 4, 2010 11:10 AM | Reply to this

Aiden............. I take my hat off to you for explaining your reasons......As im an old rocker...............was lucky enough to see GnR's back in 1991..........when they where one of the best bands in the world........I wish they would all come back together.........but that aint going to happen (SAD OLD ROCKER NOW)

Forgive mr if I'm wrong but GNR are definitely not the band they used to be. :/

Posted by Oscar | August 5, 2010 8:57 PM | Reply to this

i'm going to be seeing them on the 1st maybe i'll head to the 31st gig in belfast as well. after seeing them in 2006 i was peasantly surprised by the gig. can't wait to see them again. and to anyone above who says chinese democracy was a flop...just check the album sales. 3 million in todays figures is really good considering the tour came almost a year after the initial release, and there were no interviews. now consider that death magnetic was released september of the same year and has only out sold it by a million copies. thats pretty good in my opinion!

Posted by BigTom | August 7, 2010 3:08 AM | Reply to this

YES! GNR <3

Posted by AllTimeGg | August 7, 2010 11:31 AM | Reply to this

g'n'r was the original 5 - now we have axl and his fill-ins but the new record although is pretty good is seriously lacking the slash and duff influence - any1 who thinks the slash/axl combo wasn't the backbone of the worlds top selling debut album is fooling themselves - if these 2 guys got back together with there shit together - no ego's - the rock world would would be hit with a force 10 hurricane!

I'm not surprised gnr are not playing Newcastle last time they played there in 2006 people threw coins at axl so to be honest you can't blame them. I love gnr old and new I just don't get it when people slate the new band if you hate it so much why comment there is a saying that all publicity is good publicity so by writing these comments your promoting discussion and reactions and in a way publicising the band. My advice hate if you hate axl ??? Why waste your time writing these comments ??? For the record saw them in 2006 and when the lights go down and you hear that voice your not looking at the guitarists or bass player or drummer you focus on axl yeah slash duff izzy matt sorum Steven Adler they all part of the great history of the band but unfortunately not necessary in the bands future. A reunion is not going to happen so enjoy it as axl said " take it for what it is " . I would finally add I won't be drawn into full blown Internet arguments so comments on this post won't be replied to.
