Weezer ink new record deal

Weezer have inked a new deal with Epitaph Records, the label founded by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz.

The band will release their eighth studio album, which has tentatively been titled Hurley, through the label on September 13.

First they give Alkaline Trio their own imprint, then they sign Frank Turner and Weezer... are Epitaph getting awesome again? I sure hope so!

This is a good start, all you need to do now is bring back Punk-o-Rama, take it back to the good ol' days and everything will be forgiven, Epitaph!

Raditude wasn't the best album Weezer put out - though its got one or two guilty pleasures on there. Hopefully signing to Epitaph will signal a return to form. Excellent stuff!
