30 Seconds To Mars and Muse - rock's only winners at the VMAs

I strongly believe 30 Seconds to Mars should've won the Video Of The Year award. "Kings & Queens" is so inspiring, moving, epic!!! I'm so happy that guys have won The Best Rock Video, they truly deserve it! Echelon, we did it!!

I wish they had won the best rock video too... we worked really hard for it ho happen, but ah well. they got the best rock video and its amazing we beat paramore and muse. I cant wait to see them again for the 4th time in december, and hopefully I can try and meet him again! LOVES TO THE ECHELON!!

tbh i think that the airplanes colaboration wasn't even that good, the song was awesome and from two ver well known arists so it was very well thought out but i think lad gaga and beyonce deserved to win the award because tbh, the song was better, the video was a hell of a lot better and it was overall a hell of a lot more enjoyable and that it what the public look for, entertainment.
tbh paramore aren't even that good anymore, they have a good sound and lyrics but their old stuff is a hell of a lot better, same with enter shikari.
30stm deserved to win what they did and they keep coming back and surprising us every step of the way, who knows next year they may get better.
muse are amazing, seen them live and they are brilliant, they deserved a better award than what they got tbh but it goes with the territory, they diid well and will take the award in their stride and keep being amazing until the finish.

YEAH! They should of beat Florence and the (Rusty) Machine for Art Direction too (i'm a Gaga fan. Boohoo. So what?) but one award is fantastic! Congrats to MARS! & Muse, too! Good bands. :D

I mean I like 30 Seconds To Mars an everything but how is Kings and Queens the best rock video? It's their worse song by far, i find it really annoying and whiney, and that video is complete rubbish. Just because no other band has done a stupid video of loads of people riding around on bikes, it does not make it good.

Before anyone says anything I'm not 'hating' on the band, I do like them, I just don't think that they deserved this award for a rubbish video.

While I don't rate 30stm as being a good band at least paramore didn't get the best rock seeing as how they are a pop band in a rock category. If only there were a shittest band category then paramore would stand a better chance of winning.

K+Q live is epic and the video is awesome as well...don't get me wrong, I love Paramore, but that video is nowhere close to what 30STM produce.
