Scott Weiland to release Christmas album

Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland is to release a Christmas-themed album later in the year.

According to the singer, the album will feature modern twists on classic festive tunes.

"I'm picking various versions of these songs because they've been covered so many times," says Weiland.

This has got to be one of the worst ideas i've ever heard... he appears to be moaning that the songs have been covered so many times now he's about to attempt to cover them himself. What a bad man!
