welcome to the world of the rip-off wildhearts.....

please buy our cd's....

you will probably already have bought them but we've re-issued them along with all the b-sides of the singles you probably bought to help us get into the charts!!!!!

its been a quiet year for us as a band so we figured this would be the best way to get some cash without actually having to record a new album or tour the UK.....

much love.......

...and the 'Ignorant and uninformed post of the day' award goes to... deadly666!

If you don't like it mate, no one is forcing you to buy them. Do you really think the band own the masters to these albums?

And hey, what if they (gasp!) DID make some money off this? Surely that's not allowed! We don't want our musicians making money when people choose to buy their records now do we? And yet somehow you see a record label re-issuing their albums with a full disc of bonus tracks as some sort of a rip-off. Okayyyyy then.

The sign of a person who clearly up against it but denying it. Don't feed the trolls, etc. etc.

Seriously, these reissues will be well worth the money. Some of those B-sides are extremely hard to come by these days. For the real fans, this is a treat, and for the uninitiated, or for those who only seized upon The Wildhearts with Chutzpah!, this is a great opportunity to get into this band further.

And if you don't like it - your loss.

My opinion of The Wildhearts I think is massively different from many others that blindly love everything they do.

Ginger excelled in the writing B sides department - you really felt like you were getting a good deal when you bought a wildhearts single back in the early to mid 90's. My own Wildhearts B sides collection shits massively over any of their studio albums (even though all of their albums before Must Be Destroyed are consistently amazing - track for track). Nowadays I seem to like 2 or 3 songs per album and the rest is er...not my cup of tea.

The B Sides are far better than anything they will ever be capable of producing ever again. For those fans that are digitising their record collection for posterities sake and like all the old stuff - It's a shame they don't just release a massive B sides (and Bonus Demos) album spanning their entire career... Kinda like the Moodswings and Roundabouts boxset that they released in Japan only.

Johnny Wash And Go is probably the best song that a lot of fans will never be able to hear unless they manage to get Fishing For Luckies on vinyl. I would only be buying this for the Lost Highway which along with Johnny Wash And Go are the only songs missing from my digital collection. If I could get a good quality copy of what I have on vinyl to cd - I wouldn't have a problem.

I can't say I care too much at all for anything after Endless Nameless - My favourite era of their career.
