Blink 182 in the studio

Blink 182 are currently ahrd at work on the follow-up to their 2003 self-titled album. And, according to frontman / bassist mark Hoppus, they won't be doing anything else until it's done.

"To those of you asking about new Blink 182 tours, there are none until we finish this album," he announced via his Twitter page. "This record is priority #1."

The as-yet-untitled album is expected to surface next year.

Hopefully an expansion on the sound of the self titled album, and no weird unwanted influence from the Angels & Airwaves atrocities

Awesome, this band are legendary!

Dude Raunch was amazing!

You wouldnt have most bands around today if it werent for these lot!

I remember Enter Shikari's original myspace page saying that their hugley influenced by Blink!

Most people are, sadly Fallout Boy and All Time Low formed because of them but hey Travis is an awesome all round drummer he plays blues, rap, funk, punk rock and metal!

Blink face a small dilemma however: their earlier records, especially dude ranch and enema, are awesome but they are too old to reproduce this kind of teenage pop punk again but their later "emo" material is...well...shit so what direction do they go in?
