Blackhole split

Watford-based hardcore quintet Blackhole have split up.

"We have played some amazing shows, met some incredible people and released an album that we are all so proud of," reads an official statement from the band.

The band, who formed in 2006, released their debut album, Dead Hearts last year.

they were frank from gallows' little brother's band. and they were alright, actually. its a sad time for the music industry, all these people dying and bands falling apart.

Fuck you Charlie, a lot of people were fans of this very good band and are very gutted about their loss.

Anyway, saw them live a few months back and they were very good. Real British talent unlike My Passion who get/got more coverage based on their image :/.

I think that anyone who says "who?!" should just go away an start listening to some more less known bands.These guys were great and it sadens me that they have split. just because you may not know them doesn't mean they weren't great.

Some people are such serious hypocrites that it's actually a joke. They go on complaining about how Kerrang only report about Paramore all the time(which can get too much some times) and they say how kerrang should start reporting about less mainstream bands. But them these twats, when presented with the break up of a great Hardcore band, go "WHO?!" like some vain self centred prick. Some people really need to dig themselves out of the tiny little hole that they call their life.

@Jake a tiny little blackhole?
I've never listened to these guys as I'm not really into this genre, although I had heard of them through Kerrang and Punktastic etc., but it's sad to see the gradual demise of British DIY music. It annoys me that Kerrang give so much coverage to a band like Paramore when they clearly do not need it. I know they have to make money, but it'd be nice to see more British bands covered, because let's face it, other than an Introducing feature, Kerrang rarely covers new music.
