Garbage vocalist Shirley Manson has revealed that the recently reunited rockers have been hard at work on their fifth studio album.
The band - completed by guitarist Steve Marker, bassist Duke Erikson and drummer Butch Vig - have been in the studio working on the follow-up to 2005's Bleed Like Me, with Vig handling production duties. No release date for the as-yet-untitled album has been set.
"We've recorded quite a lot but it's difficult to quantify," Manson tells Herald Scotland. "It's the first one in a long time. We're just winging it right now."
The Anglo-American rockers disbanded in 2006 and released their Greatest Hits collection, Absolute Garbage, in 2007.
