Kerrang! Magazine 3/11/2010

Will be buying this copy. Parkway Drive are great and underrated. This bands proves you don't have to be a fashion based band nowadays to play good heavy music. Fuck yes, nice one Kerrang!

Gr8 issue...................so i was thinking............kerrang should make and sell an album of greatest rock/metal/punk hits(according to them).that would b a real treat 4 the fan's!!!!!!

they used to do kerrang cds a lot.i've got a double cd album i bought in 2001 with loads of (then current) songs on it. now kerrang is more interested in 'glow in the dark stickers to please the kiddies!

Oh my god, possibly the worst gig I've ever been to. Linkin Park at Manchester MEN - truly awful, no stars means no star talent, an obvious four "NO's". from these judges.

The show started with one of the new songs, too slow, too dull. The new songs are a case of the 'emperors new clothes', Linkin Park so confident that the public will buy anything with their name on that they will produce absolute crap in order to make a quick buck. I hope they wake up before the dream is over.

The new songs have no life and the result was that the crowd stood and watched. Chester may have well have quoted Rat Scabies and said 'Thanks for the money', no life in the band, no attempt to get the crowd going, I feel well ripped off.

Most new songs start with Mike on keyboards basically pratting about, I think he'd watched the episode of Friends where Ross plays keyboards and missed the humour element. I kept waiting for Ross to join the band for the encore or for Mike to add some cow noises to his messing around, I am told he did use the helicopter noise at one point but I must have slept through it. Give me the Blackout or Bullet for my Valentine, they care about the crowd and make an attempt to engage. I won't be going to see Linkin Park, again.

Verdict - so let down, awful, rip-off. Don't waste your time. The drive home was with a deep sense of anti-climax. We had one rule only on the drive home, No Linkin Park. it was that bad.

OMG I just found out that jared leto is an actor. do not know why this is big new's...................I'm so stupid!!

Someone sent in one of the Meet & Greet photos we took on the Bowling For Soup tour into the mag and it was published, might have to buy it now just for the giggle

It's about freaking time Kerrang put an amazing band on the front cover. I'm sick of Green Day, 30STM, Paramore and all of those.

I just hope Parkway Drive don't become overly mainstream, because I love these guys so much.

omfg, i saw parkway last wednesday in london. they are my favourite band, top of theyre game at the moment, producting spectacularly good quality music, with some freekin chunky breakdowns. love this band. i reccomend the horizons dvd (biography & live set#0. soo good!

Why is'nt the issue with glow in the dark stickers in the previous issue's? is it an unofficial issue or somethong?+is there anyway i can get old issues of kerrang!? (hopefully online)

I was so bummed to have missed the Paramore special edition of K! I literally looked everywhere but never found one stinking copy. Oh well at least I'm going to see them in December! As for MCR... God, let it die! Na na na na na na na na na.......na na na?! Jeez, can't they ever come up with something good?On a plus note, I'm psyched for the album/live reviews! Stone Sour, Gaslight Anthem, Weezer... ace. Nice one, K!

Wow. How can you try and act like nobody's heard of parkway drive? I've seen them the past 4 times they've played over here, and I know that isn't every time they've played over here.
Kerrang you have ruined this band. Deep Blue was a massive disappointment anyway, and now you (along with the shitty little kids who only know the words to deep blue songs and boneyards) have ruined this band.
