Them Crooked Vultures to work on album two

Them Crooked Vultures bassist John Paul Jones has revealed that the supergroup will work on a new album in coming months.

The band - which also features Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl on drums and Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme - will regroup shortly to begin work on the follow-up to their eponymous 2009 album.

"We're gonna write pretty quickly and just put it down," Jones tells BBC 6 Music. It will mainly be excess material from the first album, material we started and never finished because we had to go and play the stuff we already recorded!"
