Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is set to make a guest appearance in the forthcoming Muppets movie.
He's hairy, prone to screaming and is regarded as one of the best drummers in the world, so it shouldn't be a surprise to learn that Dave - who portrayed the Devil in the 2006 comedy Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny - will act as a stand-in for The Electric Mayhem sticksman Animal, who has to undergo anger management counselling in the movie.
Dave will apparently join a star-studded cast, which includes his sometime Tenacious D bandmate Jack Black and Ricky Gervais.
The film - which will be released in December 2011 - will see the puppet heroes put on a show in order to save their movie studio from an evil developer. Sounds like a box-office hit to us!
