Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has described his forthcoming action comedy, The Pawnshop Chronicles as a "hillbilly Pulp Fiction".
The film, based on a script written by actor Adam Minarovich, tells the story of a missing wedding ring involving drug addicts, skinheads and an Elvis impersonator. Production is to begin early next year.
"It's pretty hardcore," Durst tells www.hollywood.tv. "You guys are gonna love it."
Durst has previously directed two feature length films, 2007's The Education of Charlie Banks and 2008's The Longshots, starring Ice Cube.
In other news, Limp Bizkit are yet to announce an official release date for their fifth studio album, Gold Cobra.
