After cancelling his side-project Murderdolls US tour, Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison has apparently begun work on material for a new Slipknot album, which he hopes will be released next year.
"It's already in motion," Jordison told Billboard. "It's definitely exciting. It's a little emotional, of course, but I think it's going to be really, really cool and I think it's gonna be a really, really great record because everyone's really involved in the process."
That said, as with anything to do with Slipknot, it's not quite as straight forward as you might think. Be sure to pick up next week's Kerrang! magazine to find out what frontman Corey Taylor has to say on the matter.
