Quite frankly I couldn't really give a toss what gerard way and my chemical romance were doing for xmas, and in all honesty I'm sick of every other post on this website and every other article in the mag being about mcr, its really irritating that this trivial bullshit seems to be deemed as newsworthy, no one gives a fuck about this and no one would care if you wrote an article about gerard way eating a ham sandwich

Sorry, is this supposed to be news? Or yet another example of Kerrang pandering to the emo brigade? Seriously, Kerrang seems to write about nothing but pathetic gossip revolving around the same bands because thats what little teenage girls like to read about. how about some stories that real music fans care about?
Or even better, everyone take their Kerrang subscriptions and money to buy the mag, and go buy Metal Hammer instead, where this kind of emo filth isn't allowed.

It was just a nice post to remind you that its nearly christmas and perhaps kerrang didnt post it because they thought thousands of people want to know what Gerards doing for xmas, maybe they just wanted to start some conversation about what everyone else is doing for christmas and to wish you all a merry christmas. It ASTONISHES me that people are STILL calling MCR 'emo' that was merely a label that the media decided to place on them... besides 'emo' stands for emotional rock...and if you can find any rock that is NOT emotional then I would be surprised. Can't MCR just fuck off out of Kerrang already? Getting majorly pissed off with how much they've been in it recently and I'm getting to the stage where if I see they're in it, I don't buy it.

Gerard Way is a complete tosser who should be stood up against a wall and shot at point blank range, thus saving a whole generation of emo kids from slitting their wrists, and giving them a chance to experience real music. Emo stands for emotional rock, but the only emotion I feel when I listen to them is to smash Way around the head with something very large, very heavy, and create as much pain as possible.

Some people obviously do not give a shit about 'personal opinions and tastes', not to mind some fucking manners.
RDS9, even as a proud mcr fan I agree that Kerrang needs to stop squeezing them anywhere and everywhere. But that's not an excuse for hating on them and the fans; not that there are any excuses. If you find nothing at all in their music, then fine. If you don't like Gerard Way, whatever. After that, fuck off. b)Anyone who has actually listened to a whole albulm with an open mind and heart will probably love it. Anyone who is basing their opinion on tabloid scare stories and overhearing a bit in a car is a cretin and I pity you and your ignorance.
c) The media used MCR to blame for a tragedy that was not their fault. The lives of 1000s of fans around the world are enriched by their music, not damaged. Blaming MCR sold the papers,
d)I love MCR and Gee Way. He is a great writer, singer and performer and I am a 25 year old married woman who rarely wears black ( currently sporting blue jeans and a red top) so I am not, nor have I ever been an emo teenager. They may appeal to some emo;s with one albulm and rock/dance fans in their latest. I certainly can't keep my feet still to Danger Days
e)The main reasons I keep listening is they change their style from album to album, their exciting and Gee Way's voice and stage presence just 'does things to me' :P
