Life is over. I'll always love the Farros but Paramore won't ever be the same.

Im really not surprised about this, Paramore isn't Paramore anymore..... its Hayley Williams.
Its her on the posters, in the magazines, just her everywhere.... what about the other band members..... im slowly starting to dislike Paramore which is a shame :/ I used to be a huge fan.

Totally agree with Scarlie Jones. Airplanes wasn't even the start of it,it was the 'icing on the cake'.Josh and Hayley wrote most of the songs together-Taylor wrote a few too,but let's admit,they weren't their best-so I'll still love Paramore but they'll never be the same.

I am in total shock. I don't get it. Why? I must've been blind to not noticing Josh and Zac being miserable, especially since I saw them a month ago and they seemed and looked a 100% happy. Hey, worse things could happen. The band members aren't dead or anything so your life isn't over. I used to like Paramore but I'm glad I saw sense. Everything is about Hayley, the other members barely get a notice. The music has gotten worse with every album, imo. But...oh well. If 2 members of one of my favourite bands quit I would be pretty gutted but I wouldn't be sitting crying about it. It's not Paramore it's the Hayley Williams band. Look at half the posters of Paramore, it's her right at the front and the guys out of focus in the background. If I was Josh and Zac I wouldve quit a long time ago they're really the only talented ones and are completely overshadowed by her. Good luck to them hopefully they'll be better than Paramore have ever been.

Paramore will never be the same again. I actually cried when I was reading the statement. I only saw them in Belfast in June but I was glad that I got to see them all together before they left. They will be sorely missed both on stage and in the songs that Parmore will write in the future.

It annoys me when people get angry with fans for being upset. Paramore ARE a band. Sure, the Farro brothers are living, unlike some others, but it is still a huge blow to a Paramore fan to have two of the members leave the band together. I am a Paramore fan and whilst I know Josh and Zac are not dead, it's still really sad they won't be playing with Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor anymore. I just wish people would give Paramore fans their time to grieve instead of just seeing it as a piss take. Paramore means a lot to many people.

I feel like shit right now. my favorite band of five members is now only three. I know that for the next album will be more strong and powerful but at the moment I can not think about it, just think of how paramore has no the farro brothers. and I need them.

This is sad news, but I'm not going over the top. It's strange, as they all seemed so happy last month. I'm sure they'll find some new members who are kinda cool.

This is the saddest news i have ever heard. They are great guys and treasured members of the bands. I can't say I'm suprised. They haven't been as together as they were in the Riot! period for about 2 years. I know that in the recording of brand new eyes, they were fighting against each other. You can tell that they weren't communicating and just writing songs filled with angst. It was only a matter of the before they split up or someone left. I've always loved Paramore and I hope they continue to make their music. Good luck to the Farro brothers for the future, I truly hope that they're happy.

It's all about Hayley because most fans focus on her, and nobody else in a band, therefore the best way to promote Paramore is to use her. It's not Paramore..it's the marketing :)

@Kane...i wouldnt really say fans chose to like Hayley more....its just that magazines, tv shows etc. are usually more interested in the leading member of a band...especially if they happen to be a girl with bright orange (or now pink) hair...just the way it is i guess...

I've never been a major fan of Paramore, but I do respect them. It's sad that two of the founding members have left, but one assumes it was not a decision they made lightly. Yes, I know it is upsetting when members of your favourite band leave, but it's not something to say "my life is over" about. Paramore are continuing, so thee will still be more new music.

It's not like they were gonna be immortal and around forever. One day every band will break up/retire. They go up there with some of the greats in my eyes. I've grown up over the years as a teen listening to Paramore and it just wont be the same without Zac or Josh in the band. At the end of the day, Paramore is a BAND and we're all agreed that Hayley takes the limelight, but every member of the band makes Paramore, and now two of them are leaving it doesn't feel like it will still be same, old Paramore anymore :(

I'll be honest when I say its fair play to em. It must get really annoying when u have someone taking all the lime light from ur musical ability. The music as well has lost its raw-ness about it which is a real shame, and wouldn't surprise me if this was a contributing factor. Decode was the final raw song as far as I was concerned, after that the new album just lacked something.

Paramore have lost there biggest talents as far as I'm concerned it will be interesting to c where they go next but it won't be quite the same, I fear anither better of a song like decode or emergency will not emerge again.Bands must keep key members which is y other replacements work for numerous other bands, but ur lead guitarist, that's a tough call to carry on

This is a massive shock...But I can't say I'm that shocked about Josh leaving..Hs attitude has been pretty shit over the past year especially before and during the UK tour last month..I saw them at the 02 arena and he looked pretty miserable..I'm really shocked that Zac left though...Bit strange tbh..Seems really ungrateful of them both not to even address the fans themselves... Anyways I hope Paramore get even bigger and better! Jeremy, Taylor and Hayley deserve it!! They're amazing!!<3

Anyone who says Zack and Josh leaving won't change the band is just denying the truth. The question is can the paramore as everyone knows them survive it ? As far as I can tell there are 3 ways this could turn out.

1) The band get new members, come back stronger than ever and release an amazing album, I really hope this happens.

2) The band splits up, but Hayley goes solo and releases an album, it will sell millions, but be mainstream and have collaborations with the likes of B.O.B again. Hayley loses all respect to true paramore fans, 14 year old scene girls will love her even more.

3) The band completely split up in a month or two, they're never heard from again.

Zack and Josh should start a new band, if "all we know is falling" is anything to go by, they'd be awesome.

But to be completely honest you could see them leaving a mile off, as previous comments state, hayley has basically dominated the band, in the press and practically every aspect of the band, paramore poster ? Just Hayley in it, Paramore stickers, books etc, Just hayley on them.

It'll be interesting to see where Paramore goes from here...

Paramore will continue to make music, just without us. We're both young enough to start over. I'm going to spend the weekend considering my options. Both Starbucks and McDonalds have fantastic management training programs.

This might sound cocky and cheesy but, you know, Paramore hav'nt exactly been the same since Brand New Eyes. They made an album to bring the band together, as a last resort i suppose. That failed, and it has resulted in the brothers leaving for good. It's quite sad actually. My name i Kiaron, i have been Listening to paramore since 2006 and is now trying to give up. The brothers departure has torn me apart, I am a True Paramore fan. I like true Paramore fans and i hate the fake ones, AKA People who only liked them because they sung in shitty Twilight and that friggin B.O.B song. Hayley isint the one to blame for it. She is the Lead singer, they get more attention. Josh and Zac just had to leave i suppose because hey, things happen for a reason right?

Honestly, this isnt shocking news considering the events that have transpired within the band for the past year.
I feel the need to note that Hayley does not deserve to be hated purely because of the fact that she's in the spotlight - this is how the industry operates, and she has no control over what the media portrays.
I will continue to support paramore through and through, despite what hardships they face or what obstacles they must overcome.
To Josh and Zac, I respect your decision and hope you achieve whatever it is you have your hearts set upon.

This is awufl news, But don't pin the blame on Hayley. It's just how the media works, they are only interested in the singers. It's not like Hayley went out there and purposely tried to get the most attention. If that's their reason for leaving, then it's kinda silly, but I doubt it is. They obviously weren't happy in the band anymore and I could even tell this when I saw them earlier this year. And having members that don't want to be there can really bring down morale. They weren't kicked out, and they are all obviously still friends. The band mightn't be exactly the same but it will still have Paramore essense I'm sure. ALL bands change and a lot change members, it's a fact of life that nothing stays the same. All we can do now is remember the good times, hope the future is as bright as the past, and support all the members, current ex and new. The brothers will be dearly missed, though, I must say.

He's always seemed a little off, and now he's married, he's going to want to be an adult and settle down - yes, many people stay after marriage, but evidently he didn't want to. Zac is a huge shock, part of me thinks that he's leaving because of Josh, but I have no idea.

It's not just Hayley Williams, they'll find a new drummer and guitarist, which won't be hard, and carry on. Jeremy and Taylor are extremely important members of the band to huge fans, and it's never even been speculated that Hayley will go solo, and she has also said she has no plans whatsoever to go solo.

Pretty gutted the Josh & Zac are leavin bczz they've been their from the start. I'm just sad at the fact tha t Josh comes up with music and hayley just writes the lyrics so im gutted tht maybe the music wont sound the same. And also its weird bczz zac & josh formed the band and now they aint in it! The band seems pretty empty without them! Does it REALLY matter? You've still got hayley. and lets face it, unless you go to a live show thats the only person you see anymore. I would have left too, If i watched one or two of paramores videos and didn't already know who they are, i'd assume it was just hayley. Those guys are gonna go and get recognised for their own talent.

As a close friend to hayley and the band, i would just like to clear a few things up.
Josh and Zac left because of creative differences and because they missed their family. The family issue has always been there as that is one of the main reasons they have an argument. This is not to say this is all the farro brothers fault, the label has also been pushing for the band to go more mainstream and have hayley as a pin up girl which leaves the rest of the members in the background. Hayley has been wanting to go to solo projects but fears the backlash of the fans and band. The Band was hoping since the last major argument they had before brand new eyes would be sorted but was just burried under the rug. I hope everything works out from a friends point of view but it does look like the farros are gone are not looking to come back. There are more serious issues which i have not mentioned as they are personal issues not fit for posting on blog.
Please take this time to reflect on the band and what they must be going through to loose in essence their best friends, family. Just be supportive and leave off the hatred.

You're right people, Paramore won't be the same without them.
But neither should it be. They are two incredible musicians.
But that doesn't mean the new Paramore will necessarily be any better or worse.
While I'm sad to see the Farros go I think it's gonna be really exciting to see who joins the band and what they can bring to the 3 remaining members. So roll on 2011 cause I think this new album is gonna be totally AWESOME!

Wow. My heart goes out to all Paramore fans, really. 30 Seconds To Mars are my favourite band and I can't even bear to imagine how I'd feel if the Leto brothers left.
I'm a huge Paramore fan, (well, I was up until Brand New Eyes) and I wish them all the best. But I really agree with the second comment by Scarlie Jones. It's sad to see such a talented band, and only have the frontwoman shown.
I wish Paramore every success in the world, and the Farro brothers too, but alot more emphasis has to be placed on Taylor & Jeremy now, too.

It's mostly not even her fault, its the way press works as they need a face to put to the name, and its normally the front-person - so it just stands to reason that the bigger Paramore got, that would mean Hayley would always be that much bigger. So perhaps this will allow them to take a sabaticle and rework their image in the press a little.

4) I know Josh and Zac are obviously very good at what they do, but perhaps whoever they get in to play for them will be even BETTER and it will almost be like starting over again, so Paramore will go back to playing some smaller venues again and re-discover themselves all over again.

5) They'll break everything off entirely and Hayley will accept the persona shes now become in the press and embark on Solo projects of her own. Personally, I REALLY liked the song she did for the Jennifer's Body soundtrack as it was acoustic and also pretty punk as welll - like Hayley was doing Frank Turner songs. More of that would be very welcome!

Whatever happens, its a shame they felt the need to split, but I'm dubious and interested as to what will come next.

I saw Parmore in November at Notts Arena, they all looked so happy together. I don't understand why Josh and Zack want to leave, their in a very succsessful band. There must be somthing going on if both Farro brothers left.

It isn't just Hayley Williams, just because she had a number one hit song with B.O.B that doesn't change anything. To be fair they should've expected that Hayley would get the upmost attention than the rest of them, people know they are a band but Hayley is the one with the amazing voice, obviously I adore Paramore and I'm pretty sad that this has happened but on the bright side Paramore the remaining three members have stuck together, they are as strong as ever and I'm greatful they haven't completely split up else I'd probably cry even though that's really sad. Like some of you have said, there must be a reason behind why the Farro brothers have left, but if you look at the playing god video and know that Josh and Hayley used to date, he got married, Hayleys with her boyfriend now you'd probably think it's something to do with that, plus they're brothers so if one of them wants to go I think both of them would go too. it's a real shame the Farros have decided to leave, BUT we still have Hayley Jeremy and Taylor... surely it's better to have a band in which all it's members are striving towards the same goal, instead of wanting to be somewhere else. It's depressing news, and I wish Paramore had stayed toegther, although its some consolation that at least part of Paramore is still going. I wish Zac and Josh all the best in whatever they choose to do and hope that Paramore carries on. This makes me really glad that I went to see Paramore in Sheffield in November.

Paramore isn't paramore anymore. I kind of guessed that Josh would leave, but zac? Hell nah. Them leaving is the icing on the cake - It's all about Hayley. "Hayley williams this" "Hayley that" It's a miracle they haven't split up.
I love paramore and all, and the Farro's leaving is horrible but, I'm kinda tired of all the attention Hayley has been getting. When was the last time Kerrang had a whole paramore band poster....? Ages. But Hayley was put in last month. It's sad. Thank God they haven't completly split up. Album 4 is going to take longer, because Josh won't be there to write the songs withTaylor & Hayley.

This is upsetting. I love Paramore and I have been lucky to see them live twice. However, I am still in shock as to why the Farro's left. Josh always looked numb but Zac? I didn't see this coming and I hope a further explanation is given out.

I know bands don't stay together forever but somehow I thought Paramore would. To everyone who's revelling in this situation. Stop.

Paramore's music helped me through some really tough times and to be honest, I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for their music and inspirational music. Yes that may sound pathetic but it's the truth.

I am so grateful that Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor are continuing.

Paramore is the only band that ive ever completly loved! tbf they might aswell split up now. so glad i got to see them in concert before this happen.

my heart has literly sank!! and im trying my best to hold back the tears, if it wasnt heart breaking enough to hear bob bryar had left MCR my favoure band now its more heart breaking to hear that a band i have loved for over 3 years it parting ways with two of there memebers, i am glad to say though i was lucky enough to see them live when they where a 5 peace band and it is still to this day one of the best days of my life so far!! :D i wish Josh and Zac the best of luck in the world in the new plans that they have for there future,

Also I think everybody needs to just remember the good times..like the first time you heard a Paramore song back in the day..or the first time you saw them live no matter if that was five years ago or last month..Not all the issues and hurt you're feeling now cause that won't last forever. Trust me! Just look back at the good times and fun memories you have of them all having a great time being in a band touring the world as best friends..the memories that made you love them.
You'll get those feelings again when you get used to the two new members and everything is straightened out properly. It's kinda like a new begining for Paramore..and who knows..it might even be the start of something so much better...

I cried for the good part of last night after finding out, & now I seem to be off again. I will forever stick with Paramore, but they won't be the same without the Farro brothers. Paramore's music, as Hayley, Josh, Taylor, Jeremy & Zac, saved my life, & they are my favourite band, But I wish Josh & Zac all the best, even if this did break my heart.

This is really sad news! Although I am still sticking by Paramore. Sometimes changes need to be made in a band to make it stronger and happier. I wish them all good luck for the future. I am looking forward to seeing what Hayley and the guys can come up with on the new album.

Also its not like their earlier stuff which the Farro brothers were part of is gonna fall off the face of the earth is it? You can still listen to it.. although no new release will have them on... there hasn't been anything since 2009 really anyway, i know they've released singles off BNE but fans would have heard them previous, am i right? Just be happy for their new direction..
Doesn't everyone kick up a fuss about the band is everyone as a whole, not just Hayley? So surely the three left should still be known as great? Just because those two have left doesn't mean paramore is over.

il be totally honest, im heartbroken. my favourite band actually wont be the same. i dont know how they are even gonna begin to try and replace the Farros. one thing thats been said however is noone seems to have noticed the boys were miserable. maybe not zac but ive seen them twice since this time last year and both times josh has looked miserable on stage. im upset but i wish them the best. cant wait to hear more stuff from zac and what the remaining three produce in the new year.

:O OMG i got told by a friend of mine when i was on a bus and wasn't gonna be at a computer for hours and she just told me to look on her, i will still think paramore are an amazing band but gonna be quite impossible to replace the farro brothers they were quite amazing

To be honest alot of people could actually see this coming. I mean the Farro's started this band when they were 13 in their basement, and then Hayley joined the band when she joined the high school and she met them there. As soon as Hayley joined the band "Paramore" became evolved completely around Hayley. When people think of paramore they automatically think of Hayley and no-body else in the band. I mean most "fans of paramore" do you know the other members names or is it just Hayley you know? Also Hayley went off and sung airplanes with B.O.B, why did she have to do that if her band was so important to her and that they were so big this year. I'm a fan of paramore but I still believe that the band only revolves around Hayley, on the front of magazines and its about paramore it's all posters of just Hayley and just her talking. I also believe that Hayley and Josh never got over each other and that may be another reason why he had to leave, I know she has a boyfriend and hes married, but they were together and then continued touring on a tour bus around each other constantly i mean feelings won't go away if your together constantly. If paramore are as good as they seem to be this year, they will surely be able to get a new drummer, another guitarist and carry on as they were. Now it doesn't matter that Josh and Zac started the band because Paramore is "Hayleys band now".

Paramore's not going to be the same :( I'm a huge fan, and i know it's all hayley williams this and hayley williams that, and most 'fans' only know her name, and the others as just the band members. but all true fans will realise its never going to be the same without them :( hopefully Paramore won't change too much, cuz i really am a huge fan :/
