BMTH as the worst band?!?! What the actual Fucl. They've played amazing live shows, brought out a fucking amazing album. WTF.

@Matty Yes, we know he died 28th of December 2009, but do you realise how much of an affect that had on the band for 2010? The were without a drummer, and then Mike Portnoy stepped in a lended a hand. Think about it - they lost a friend, yet the still tried there best and came out with an outstanding which to me was one of the best buys for albums this year.

On another note, I used to hate Bring me the Horizon, but then I started to listen to them, and I have to say, they do NOT deserve to be worst band. I mean, YouMeAtSix - get out, all your songs sound the same and your lyrics and camp.

The rest I have nothing to complain about except the best game thing? Really?

BMTH are fucking awful, they certainly deserve worst band. However, most of the rest is shite.

On another topic, I really adore MCR, but Na Na Na definitely wasn't the best track of 2010. Even within the same album, Danger Days, there were much better songs (Party Poison, Destroya, Vampire Money). It's a good song, but not the best of the year.

Best Band: Should be A7X. MCR are a talented band, however compare the talent of the instrumentals from both bands. For example, listen to the guitar solo of Welcome to the Family, followed by the guitar solo of Na Na Na. See my point..?

Worst Band: You Me at Six is WAY worse than BMTH. Pre-Suicide Season BMTH was terrible I admit, but slowly they have learnt their lesson and created something amazing.

Best New Band: BVB for sure.

Best Live Band: BFMV is an experience to remember.

Best Track: Na Na Na is pretty worthless in comparison to The Last Fight or something.

Best Album: Nightmare - A7X obviously.

It makes me laugh how David Cameron being voted pm is one of the worst things. Most of the readers clearly don't know anything about politics and are just going by what their parents or friends have said. Admittedly the Uni thing is incredibly harsh but labour got this country in this mess, harsh and unfair measures have to be taken.

The election of David Cameron as PM as one of the worst things to happen in 2010, get a grip student folk, Labour screwed us over by over spending, cuts need to be made to ensure a good swift economic upturn, students yes will have to face higher fees but even then student loans are at a reduced rate and only start getting paid back when they get a job and start earning so much money.

Where the hell are the true bands I'm sure Iron Maiden produced a album this year, any mention NO!

OH yeah, good job Black Ops did not get best game, Halo:Reach, Mass Effect 2 or even Red Dead Redemption.
At least these games have a good story, plotline and gameplay.

i agree with Meg - BMTH aren't shit, i hated them at 1st, but i just bought Suicide Season, gave it a proper listen and ignored what i thought about the band before - it turned out to be a really great album... and The Is A Hell... is great too;

Worst Thing of 2010: KERRANG!

Ok, My Chemical Underpants have turned their backs on what made them who they are so they don't deserve anything. Their new sound may be popular but that doesn't mean it's good, to me it just sounds like thoughtless pop-rock, I'm actually ashamed that I was a fan once.
As for BFMV, I have seen nearly 100 bands (some several times) in just the past two years and BFMV were one of the most boring I've ever seen. How is it that people seriously think they're something special?

You Me At Six in the worst band catagorey. SERIOUS. Bloody joke. If you don't notice how much hard work and effort they put into everything they do. I've seen them live twice and they've been incredible both times. It's easy to notice how much effort, hard work and how passionate they are about what they do. They are just amazing and I can't believe they've been voted second worst band. They are consistent unlike other bands like Paramore.They deserve best band spot nothing less.

b) The only real loser of this poll is british music. All the winners of 'Best' something are american bands, apart from 'Best New Band'. That tells us that Kerrang's strongest field is introducing new acts, and it's failing at representing more established british bands. Personally, I don't get Kerrang magazine to read about all the MCRs and 30STMs that I could read about in any magazine.

Why Twilight is mentioned god only only knows because it's a lump of horse shite with sparkly bits thrown in! For the record, I'm a huge 30 seconds to mars fan, but I've seen Bullet, Avenged, Stone Sour and Paramore this year so I feel justified saying 30stm are the best live band at the minute because of how they involve everyone, not just because of the Echelon 'vote for everything you can' business! (It made me laugh that someone suggested This is War as best album when it came out in December 09!)

Totally agree with Axl Rose being the villain of the year. Pity there's no "Biggest twat of the last 10 years" category here. I got into GNR in the late 80's before hardly anyone had heard of them. They were a much needed kick in the face of the metal / rock scene at the time. They were loud, brash, aggressive and dangerous. And they were so exciting! Cue a decade later they have become a total parody of everything that used to be good about the band. Axl Rose is the only remaining member of the band and therefore should take full responsibilty for what has happened to this band. Slash, Duff and Matt Sorum have moved on and continue to make music that is exciting and relevant today. Axl Rose has become irrelevant, unoriginal and useless. He treats his fans like shit. Axl has single handedly turned the greatest rock band in the world into a joke pub band. Hey Axl, your words are coming back to haunt you- "Think anyone with an IQ over 15 would ever believe your shit.. fuckhead... nuthin but a fuckin pussy"
