In this week's Kerrang! magazine (out today, Wednesday, December 8) we reveal what's rocked and shocked you lot over the last 12 months with the annual Kerrang! Readers Poll.
Understandably, My Chemical Romance have dominated the Poll, with you awarding the accolades of Best Band of 2010, Best Album of 2010 (for Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys) and Best Single (for Na Na Na).
"We're completely thrilled to get these readers' awards from Kerrang!" said frontman Gerard Way. "Your support over the years, and more especially for the new album, has been nothing short of incredible. To get these accolades so soon after the release of Danger Days... is amazing. We cant wait to get back to the UK in February, and we wish all Kerrang readers a great Christmas and New Year. See you soon!"
30 Seconds To Mars were a close second, with you naming them Best Live Band of 2010 and frontman Jared Leto has been crowned Sexiest Male of 2010.
"First off, thank you to The Echelon for showing us once again the power of belief, commitment, passion, and what can happen when relentless believers push their bloody fingers to the core," Leto told K!. "As far as The Sexiest Male thing goes, I should probably just thank Gerard Way for not having a record out sooner, or else I would surely, and happily, be his runner up!"
