Judas Priest: "We're not splitting up"

Heavy metal legends Judas Priest have revealed that they have no intention of splitting up, despite announcing dates for their 'final' world tour this summer.

"To put everyone's mind at rest, this is by no means the end of the band," said guitarist Glenn Tipton in an official statement. "In fact, we are presently writing new material, but we do intend this to be the last major world tour."

The band are expected to announce more dates for the tour shortly.
