Korn to enter the studio in April

Bakersfield nu metallers Korn have started work on their follow-up to 2010's Korn III: Remember Who You Are.

In an interview with Zoiks!, guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer reveals that the band are experimenting with a new sound for their 10th studio effort.

"We went into the studio a couple of months ago," explains Munky. "We wrote some songs, Jonathan [Davis, vocalist] demoed the songs on his computer, and then we took them into the studio and played them live and tweaked them a little bit. They're cool. They kind of remind me a little bit of the Soundgarden style, that sort of Seattle sound. The other songs are sort of different, a little more in the experimental stage right now.

"We'll probably start recording in April to try and fine tune this sound we're developing," he adds.

Who cares! Korn are shit! Theres a reason why half the band left! Before you say "why are wasting your time writting stuff about them if you dont like them", well, the simple reason is - I FUCKING CAN THATS WHY!

They sound as boring and repetitive as they did 12 years ago! That same Korn sound (or should i say korny sound, hahahaha).

kian, noone cares if you dont like them the people like them mostly cause they are actually talking from the heart if you dont like them its simple, just dont listen to them. jon davis has got so far with so little and we all know you have got nowhere and your first and only sexual experience was with a one armed hooker named steve :)

Well, Im excited to hear about another new album. The last one really took them back to there roots. And was absolutly amazing! A new sound would be good to hear. I do Enjoy the Heavier Korn but if there going to sound anything like Soundgarden, im sure its going to sound fucking Awesome. <3

Their sound is boring and they've done it time and time before!

Their a nu metal band, a genre that was so shit chances are it will never EVER come back around!

They have so many haters maybe because John Davies has a deal with Adidass, their (or were) on a massive record label, they were massive drug abusers, their albums all sound alike, half the band has left, thwir boring!

Maybe thats why they have so many haters?!

If you think ALL of Korns albums sound the same you are obviously a tit.

I hope they focus on solid song writing rather than saying "we are going to make this type of album", if they write then see how it comes out.

Can't wait, does nobody else agree that they should do another Untouchables? It was their heaviest album and the sound was amazing.

uuuuuuuurrrrgh experimenting with a new sound? didnt work on see you on the other side or the untitled album! so why keep experimenting! my motto on life is stick to what ya know then ya wont be disapointed! i think korn should live by that motto too!
